Can you install a 34 inch ultra wide monitor?
A shopper
on Jan 14, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have a Dell U3419W on my standing desk at home. If you plan to extend the arm far away from the center vertical post, the arm starts to lean forward and I wouldn't trust it. I keep it closer to the vertical support post and it is stable enough. The monitor hasn't slide down the vertical arm, either, and it stays in the same location well.

I would think so in landscape.. The highest position puts the middle of the 100 x 100 mount about 15 inches away from the mounting surface. That surface needs to be very rigid so you can clamp righty.

Maybe. Look at the weight and size capacity of this stand and compare to the weight of the monitor. Good luck.

I just want to confirm that I can spin my monitor to Portrait mode, as I will use this with a 26inch monitor to read digital comic books, and want to be sure I can spin my monitor that way? Longways if you get my meaning?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can turn it from landscape to portrait with relative ease. It’s pivot point has a firm hold making it hard to turn by itself, but once a monitor is attached, the additional weight makes turning it easy to do.

It can "spin" about 15 degrees either way when the monitor is mounted. The monitor can be mounted either portrait or landscape orientation.

The desk clamp can be set at three different gap settings. While it's designed to open a maximum of 100mm (just under 4"), realistically you're looking at about 90mm (about 3.6") in most applications.

BEST ANSWER: It really depends on the size of your cable management system. The small, circular holes will be much too small for this. Some of the larger ones, with oval-shaped holes, might work if you removed the edge guard. Since the base plate is so wide, I'd say stick with using the desktop in most applications, and just place it near the desired cable management hole.

Not really. It allows you to put your monitor cables down through the top of the support tube and they come out near the base of the tube at the back.

Thanks, Ryan, for the answer. I don't think I described it right. There's a hole in the top of my desk, near the back, that's intended for keyboard, mouse, monitor cables to pass through and connect to the tower under the desk. I had seen a different one of these online that stated it could be installed in said hole. I have a hutch and back on my desk so there's no place to clamp it to the back edge.
I want to stick with Monoprice is why I was asking.
Thanks again for the answer, though!

I have 2 questions:
1. what is the minimum distance from the wall to the back of the monitor? I'm looking for something that can be as flush to the wall as possible.
2. Will it work with my 32" monitor? It's is under the max weight (weights 13lbs), and the stand is tall enough for my desired height.

BEST ANSWER: 1. There is no minimum back clearance, other than the thickness of the clamp bracket, about 1/8". If you had that flush to the wall, then the cords would have to go over the top of the desk surface.
2. I don't see why it wouldn't work. That's about the weight of my monitor (a TV) but a smaller screen. The bottom edge of yours would just be closer to the desk.

Great Monitor Arm
I needed a monitor arm for a single 32" Monitor on my sit-stand desk. This did a great job of making it look great and saving the room on my desk for other things (important things like my Pop figurines!).

perfect speaker stands
Nice construction, work well as speaker stands/risers to bring speakers up to ear level. The fact that the vesa plate rotates up flat allows one to screw on a plate and place desktop speakers on them. They extend far enough out to bring the speakers slightly ahead of a desktop screen, and the swing-arm rotation allows for perfect speaker placement. In an ideal world, a white version would be nice.

Very sturdy and all the needed fasteners were included---a pleasant surprise. The monitor mount can be rotated a bit on its axis which was not in the original description. This feature is valuable.
I'd certainly recommend this monitor and the price is amazingly low.
