What BT controller is compatible with this? Any recommendations?
    James C on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It only holds the phone, so a BT controller that can connect to your phone will work.
how do i calibrate the VR viewer?
    A shopper on Dec 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: at the top near the top strap you can adjust the distance of the lens and there are adjustments on the bottom that lets you adjust lens spacing
What is the minimum version of Android it will work with? My phone has Android 5.0.2 and my carrier won't update it.
    A shopper on Jan 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Time to root your phone then and load whatever you want.
Most all apps want you to scan in the QR code of the goggles for easy compatibility, like Google Cardboard. This VR device does not have QR code. What other VR device does this most closely resemble so I can select it manually in the app? Or provide a QR code that I can slap on the side of the goggles?
    Greg J on Jan 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No QR code needed as this headset has no controls, etc. to use. It is standard/plain jane cardboard headset.
will my note 4 fit into this?
    David M on Jun 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have used a Note 4 in the viewer.

I have the Pixel XL phone which the display is 5.5 inches, but the body is 6.09 inches. Will my phone fit this?
    A shopper on Jul 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It should be able to fit. I have seen customers with the Note 4 have success with this device and it is only .04in smaller than the Pixel XL.
Is this compatible with ipod 6?
    A shopper on Dec 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have an iPhone 6 and it works fine. I would expect the measurements to be similar, but can't say for sure.

One thing to note is there is not direct way to interact with any of the buttons of the screen once your device.

Great Option for a VR Viewer
I purchased a couple of these for one of our staff members who shows clients CD VR mock-ups of construction projects. The viewer is very comfortable to wear. I even wore it with my prescription glasses. The straps make it easy to get a comfortable fit. The pupil distance and focus adjustments are very helpful to get that "just right" focus, and eliminate double vision issues. It's a lot more professional looking than a Google Cardboard viewer, and provides a solid, hands-free viewing experience for an excellent price. The packaging is sturdy enough that it could be used for storage and transportation as well.

    PROS: Comfortable. Easily adjustable. Inexpensive.

CONS: There is no window in the cover to allow for camera operation with augmented reality apps.

    Okay VR viewer.
Packaging of the unit was first rate. Fit and finish are good as the materials are good quality. Looks like the headset will hold up to use. Lined foam padding is nice and comfortable on the face. My Samsung Note 4 being large has to be out of its case but, fits snugly in the headset. Glaring omission is that there is not the Google Cardboard magnetic button to allow selection/etc. when the phone is installed. Must have a BT controller with this unit.

PROS: Good packaging so, unless the unit gets run over it will arrive in good condition. Nicely padded and fits comfortably with lots of adjustment in the straps. Fits large phones like Samsung Note series well. IPD adjustment is a nice feature.

CONS: No magnetic button on headset to make selections/clicks when in VR mode. Must have BT controller with this headset for enjoyable experience with Google Cardboard software. Optics are okay but, have no focus adjustment besides IPD.

    nice and affordable
one of the best phone vr viewers i've used. the eye adjustments are are great, you can adjust it to make your viewing perfect. the only thing that sucks is that's there so controller, i got by though by using a magnet i had off hand and after some testing found out where it would activate buttons within whatever vr program i was in. fits my nexus 6p perfectly, any bigger and you might have some problems. another thing that sucks is that it doesnt have an open port for your rear camera so you can do augmented reality stuff but other than that esp for the price it's pretty good.

    Not Too Shabby
These are comfortable to wear with good adjustability, but there is no button with which to interact with the phone (not really the fault of the headset) which means the phone has to be taken out and put back in place often. It would be much easier if there was a hinge so you didn't have to take the full front on and off each time, which is hard to do with the headset still on your head (or pushed up to forehead).

Didn't fit my Nexus 6 which is 5.9 inches
If I leave off the end cap and rubber band my Nexus 6 phone to the viewer is works. sort of.

One star because because they advertise as fitting a 6 inch phone and it doesn't.

    Worth the price
Great VR viewer. Used it with a few iPhones: 5S, 6 and 7 and they all worked great with this device. Stays well on the head. Pretty easy to focus on the screen with the incluses lenses.

    Better than Cardboard
The device seems to be well bilt and the ability to adjust the interpupillary distance helps a lot. Keep in mind that if you have a low resolution phone screen, you are going to see pixels.

Pretty good way to try VR.
I was interested in VR and used google cardboard, which is great for a demo and little else. This is comfortable, adjustable, and a pretty good representation minus the motion tracking of what to expect from a Rift or Vive.

    Just ok.
It's well built and the lenses are pretty good. My iPhone 6s plus fits perfectly. And the straps attach easily and hold well. But. It's a bit too hard to get it open to put the phone in. The clips that hold the cover on seem like they will break easily. Also the focus disks don't have enough range to accommodate someone with bad vision. They need about a quarter more turn in each direction.
