I have Netgear wireless router and would like to create another access point. Is this device compatible? I have 100 mbs speed through my internet provider. I cannot get a signal to a guest house or the back of my house less than 100 feet for both.

Couldn't get to work

I was really excited about this item. I followed the directions carefully and tried to install with my Macmini. No dice. I then tried to use my HP laptop, still no dice. I tried multiple times, different days, just thinking that I was doing it wrong. I'm very disappointed. I was late trying to return it, now I'm stuck with a part that I can't use.

Doesn't work

I was told this would carry wi-fi for up to six miles. I only wanted it to carry 200 ft. so that I could get my Amazon Prime videos on my tv and it won''t even do that. I have written for help and gotten no responses so I guess customer service isn't that good either.
