Can you hot swap the stand from the desk setup to the wall mounted setup ?
A shopper
on Jun 29, 2022
BEST ANSWER: From what the manual is showing it looks like this is possible. You'd just have to undo knob "part J" from the base plate and slide the clamp head assembly arm onto wherever you mounted the wall plate. Cool! Haven't even hooked mine up yet but I opened it up just to answer this question, LOL.

Sure you can. The stand is held in the desk base by a hand screw which once removed will allow the stand to be put in the wall base with the same screw.

Yes. There's a little thumbscrew that you remove, pull it off of the stand, then slide it onto the wall mount. Easy peasy.

Not sure about a Kindle, as I do not own one. I was pretty sure there was information that gave you the length or width that the arms could hold. Maybe in a technical specifications area? If it fits the size dimensions it should. These stands are pretty universal. Just be careful if you have a bulky case or pop socket on the back of your device as the thickness of my tablet casing wouldnt allow it to hold securely in the arms grasp. My case was definitely bulky though. My tablet was made about 2014 and I would guess a little over a quarter inch thick.

Yes it should. Depending on which kindle it might not be wide enough width wise so you may have to position the jaws on the top/bottom of the kindle instead of on the sides, but it would work fine I think.

Can this hold a web cam?
A shopper
on Oct 29, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It did with my Logitech webcam. You have to spin the mount 90 degrees, so it looks like an I, the webcam was able to sit on top. Note: it is not that secure, There is a slot that is located on top. If you were asking about between the two brackets. I would say no because most webcams are probably not that wide(5 inches/13cm).

I actually disassembled my stand and used the components to fashion a hot shoe wall mount. It works great. I think that I required some miscellaneous tripod parts.

This question is for monoprice: Are you guys going to have the manufacturer make one that will fit larger tablets, like the Surface 4/Book and Ipad Pro 12.9? If so, I will buy 10 of them!
A shopper
on May 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. This Tablet Desk Stand will be able to fit a tablet that has a max width of at least 8.82" (224mm). Both Tablets will be able to fit as explained below.
When in the portrait orientation, the iPad Pro 12.9 will have a width of 8.68" (220.6mm) and the Surface Pro 4 will have a width of 7.93" (201.42mm). You would then be able to rotate the tablet to have it in the horizontal orientation.
The iPad may have trouble fitting with a case on it but the Surface should have no problem fitting with a case on it. I hope this helps!

If the wall mount of #16068 is attached to the wall, could the screen face downward? I'd like to use tablet/phone while laying in bed, with the mount fastened on the wall/headboard above pillow.
