the signal is not powerful enough.

It works, sometimes. For two out of 8 cat6 connections it showed connectivity, but the cable did not transfer signal.

I needed to identify the coax cables in the cable box on the side of my house and this little tool worked great. Not the most industrial looking tool but it did the job.

Worked for what I needed; toning out CAT6 and terminating them in a home. The only issue I had was with the battery cover on the back of the receiver, it wouldn't stay in place so I had to use some tape to keep it in place.

This product has been amazing. The Last one I had, (not this one) I couldn’t figure out how to use. Once I got this, put the included batteries in and was able to start hardening my network. It has been amazing.

For the price cannot beat it. Does what you need.

For the money it is a great deal. Love having the pin light built in.

This was the lowest priced tone and probe set I could find when I needed to troubleshoot a couple of network runs. It works perfectly, with one cable end with an RJ45 plug plugging directly into the tone generator.

This works as well as the basic greenlee or fluke models and is at least $30 less. A great product and fantastic price.
