What makes this "Plus + Premium" better than the normal PLA filament?

BEST ANSWER: I've had some experience printing with this material. It's pretty smooth, and claims to be stronger than standard PLA. While I haven't printed a ton of weight-bearing prints, I do feel like it's harder to break along the layers than other PLA I've used. The only exception seems to be the natural (clear) color, which seems to be the brittlest of the bunch.

The PLA + has additives that make it process easier and more consistently . I have used both regular and plus over the last year and I will only buy plus now . My prints come out smoother, more glossy, no under print issues, no filament breaks, and no clogged nozzles. I love MP’s PLA +. Highly recommend it.

I think it is better quality. I ve had less trouble with it. Better adhesion to the bed and less clogging.

What are the spool dimensions, and will these .5 kg spools fit in the new MP Voxel printer (rebadged Flashforge Adventurer 3)? I have seen conflicting reports.

How is the difference in manufacturing process between grey and black PLA Plus+?
I like PLA Plus because of its higher temperature stability compared with standard PLA.
I did some DSC test and had measurements differences within black and grey PLA Plus booth from Monoprice:
The Black has MP of approx. 155°C and Endset at around 167°C
The Grey one has MP around 179°C and Endset around 185°C
The second DSC run shows little difference:
The Black has MP of approx. 154°C and Endset at around 165°C
The Grey one has MP around 176°C and Endset around 182°C
Interesting is that the grey shows greater degree of crystallinity -40J/g vs. -24J/g.
The difference in quality for those two colours is for sure there.
Considering those results, you need lower print temperature with the black filament.
I will do at some time also more test on DMA and viscosity.

Does not fit Monoprice Voxel 3D Printer
Does not fit in the Monoprice Voxel 3D printer. The spool outer radius is too wide. Had to physically cut the spool back to use it.

Need more help or information for the software. Bot all of us grew up using computers, and don't use them on a daily basis .
Getting the printer was easy, installing the software on my p c, I have yet to be able to get the picture I took converted to the rite file so I can import and print it. Other then that the model it printed looked awesome

Turns brittle and clogs printer.o
Turns very brittle when printing. Have to remove it from printer directly after print is done. Clogged print head several times.
Looks cool but not sure it is worth the 5x trouble.

Great PLA
Really like this PLA. I am not sure how the experience can vary from one color to the next, but this has been right up there with the quality of the orange PLA.
