Is this rack mountable?
A shopper
on Feb 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is not the standard size for rack mounting, nor does it come with any mounting hardware. But if you really wanted to mount it, there are places that sell all kinds or mounting accessories. I bet you could rig something.

BEST ANSWER: Hello, thank you for your question. While this unit will scale/stretch the image from 720p to fit on a 1080p screen, it will not increase the image quality capability of the source. I apologize for the inconvenience

The term 1080P is often misused , I wonder if there is a mode where this unit can be used with it's internal scaler to O/P 1080i/59.95hz ? , that is the primary signal preferred for professional video equipment like video mixers and Broadcast ? (with only 720P and 1080P O/P options , if that is the only options , then this is limited to what it can interface with ?) , many thanks , Brad

Will this accept signal from an analog RGBHV (BNC) -> DVI cable as an input and convert it to HD-SDI output? (trying to convert signal from an older Kramer switch to a Blackmagic Decklink HD-SDI capture card)

Great low cost signal conversion and works with ATEM.
This unit is just amazing for the price. We use it at podium’s where people bring their own laptops. This way they can have any laptop output and we send it via HD-SDI to our FOH switchers. This unit works with Blackmagic ATEM switchers, even with it marked as 1080P output we use it with mixed 1080i cameras on those switchers.

Converts, configures and remembers settings
I purchased a couple of these a couple months ago and I have been very pleased with the results. A couple times I thought that the units would have to be reconfigured. But even after a disconnect and then a reconnect, they remember the settings for input and output formats.

does work but not that fast.
It does convert all of these sources to two SDI outputs which is perfect! however, it is a bit slow switching from analog to digital inputs such as RCA input to HDMI input. i have noticed a 5-6 Sec delay in the switch regardless of the output resolution selected.
