Each end of this cable has an arrow pointing to the connector, it doesn't say input or output. Does it matter which end connects to output?

BEST ANSWER: It has not mattered in my usage. I am using it in temporary set ups (not in wall) and I am able to use it either direction.

Will it work with ps4?

BEST ANSWER: I bought the 50' long cable and tried running a PS4; it did not work. I can advise that the 50' long cable worked for the cable TV, XBox but NOT the PS4. I did contact Monoprice and they were extremely helpful. I purchased an active HDMI cable to run the PS4 over the 50' length. The big thing is how long the cable is. Conclusion: for a 50' long cable it did not work.

According to info on google, an HDMI connection is the only connection that a PS4 supports. They also say that PS4s come with an HDMI cable. I bought this HDMI cable for a long run from a DVD player to a TV. I thought it was very reasonably priced.

I am loosing signal (both audio and video) for about 2-3 seconds, every 1 hour. I thought I never needed a signal booster for this cable. Does anyone see this issue?

How thick does the conduit have to be to pass cable through the wall?

BEST ANSWER: Be sure the conduit is large enough for the standard HDMI PLUG to fit through. The cable is thick, but the biggest part is the plug.

50 foot HDMI cable. Works great as expected.
Combined with keystones for a wall plate and a HDMI splitter this works great to allow a monitor with speakers in another room to show me the same thing being watch in the main room.
Just have to know how to find the proper wall cavity from the attic and drill a hole in the top plates of the wall. Easy peasy.

How did I like it? It's a cable....nice one though. I've never had any problems with Monoprice cable and cable assemblies and they are always very reasonably priced.

Excellent Quality and sturdiness.
Much thicker gauge cable than I expected, but we are going to run it above our ceiling in the media room to connect our projector to the source amplifier. Recommend it for just this type of application.
