Can they be used without the cable or lanyard connecting them together?
Gary M
on Apr 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No. The battery, power, and Bluetooth are on one side and the wire is needed to transfer signal to the other earpiece. Having said that these are great sounding and comfortable earphones. The wire is a good length and I vary between having it behind my neck & in front.

Anyone actually used these for exercising (running, cycling, etc)? Any issues?
Michael B
on Mar 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have not used them for running, but have for a variety of other machine based exercising, such as stair climber, elliptical, spin bike, etc. They are amazing. For $20, you cannot match the noise cancelling and great sound. They get pretty loud, which I happen to like. They tuck into your ears pretty snug. My wife just recently borrowed them to use on her spin bike and now I have to buy another pair! For $20, I won't hesitate for a second.

They won't stay in your ear during exercise that is more vigorous than walking or perhaps cycling (if your head does not move much), but they are great while working at one's desk, while sitting and reading, and other low-impact activities.

This headset connects to PC via bluetooth and no drivers are required. The PC (laptop) already has bluetooth built in. Desktop PC's normally use a bluetooth transceiver stick which also do not require a driver. Just plug it in and pair it with the headset.

Douglas, when they use the term "drivers" here, they don't mean software drivers. Drivers in this sense means how big the speakers are inside the earbuds. So when it says large-driver, it means the speakers inside the earbuds are large in size (14.2mm to be exact). It doesn't need any sort of software drivers at all to use on your computer as long as your computer has bluetooth to connect to the headphones.

How long can one battery recharge last in paired and not playing sound condition? can it last full day?

BEST ANSWER: Yes. Don't use these, but my daughter does, and does not charge every day.
Aslo: they seem to go in sleep mode automatically when not in use, but you can power them off easily, and power them on later without having to re-pair them again. I expect they would hold a charge for a fairly long period powered off (Several days? A week?).

A week?).

I left mine fully charged in a bag without using them. 3 months later I used them for over 2 hours. I have no idea how much longer they might have gone before they would have needed a recharge.

Is there a microphone?
Blanchard L
on Nov 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. It didn't seem to be loud enough on the first one, but Monoprice replaced it and the second one worked fine. Very nice sound. I suggest the phone app "headphones equalizer" which automatically you create one perfect setting using their cool tech. Then they will sound very good with music etc.

At 25 ft, expect some dropouts especially if anyone or anything gets between you and the TV. The sound quality is very good at this price point if you keep these earphones close to the source.

I think that might be stretching the range of it but I wouldn't say no either. Mine work from a couple rooms away without issue, but that's more ~15' with wall interference.

Seriously? The only documentation that comes with the product says that the manual is only available online.

Why would you want to? You have speakers in your car for this purpose. Plus, like Harold said, it is highly illegal pretty much everywhere to have your hearing impaired like that.

Easy to use, great audio!
I am very pleased with the headphones. I use them for running or when cooking primarily. Very easy to use (pair, volume control, play/pause, etc). Audio quality is great, but I'm no audio expert. I do wish they had an in-line microphone for phone calls, but I can live without it.
Definitely recommend!

Good but one side is now flaky
Was very pleased with the value of these. Work great with my Amazon FireTV Stick—it automatically connects when you switch them on.
Sadly, after 13 months of careful use a few times a week, the right ear speaker has become intermittent. If you wiggle the wire you can sometimes make it work but then it cuts out again.
Don't know what the warranty on these is but I'd be surprised if it's more than a year. Guess I will be buying another pair.

Considering the price, these are pretty good wireless earbuds. I was able to walk a decent distance from my phone without it disconnecting. It took a little bit to get the fit right, but now I can get them to stay in my ears when I workout. I saw other people's comments about the bass quality, so didn't have high expectations. But I was surprised that it actually has pretty decent bass. It also does a pretty good job with noise cancellation too.

Review after a couple years of use
I have had these for a couple years. Sometimes I use them a lot sometimes they just gather dust.
They have fallen apart, been put back together and gone through many charge cycles.
After all this they still work great, sound great and look goofy.
For $15 they are a steal.

Good, not great
Battery life is pretty good. I wear these at work and after 8 hours, they're still playing.
The sound quality is not that impressive. For podcasts and audio books, it's acceptable. If you're looking for high quality audio for music, these wont do very well.
I wish the cable was made out of a different material. It's rubbery and somewhat stiff, so it sticks to the back of your neck. Not a deal breaker, but an annoyance.

Excellent Earbuds!
I've had mine for a few years now and they are great! They passed my White Stripes "Seven Nation Army" test. lol
I usually like a little more bass, but there's no way you can get any better for only $15. When other people rate products, they seriously need to take into account the price, which they usually don't. I have never had any problems pairing or receiving audio from any device. These things are awesome, especially for the price!

Can't Get Em To Fit
Even after trying all three rubber inner ear pieces I could not get them to fit snugly. They seem either too loose or just barely in my ear. The end result is overall mediocre sound at best. Not good MONOPRICE.
