The cables themselves are nice but ran into a problem that I kind of expected to run into with these cables. While there are only 4 leads in the micro USB end the usb C end doesn't have the pull down resistor to make it a sub device. This isn't an issue when using an A to C cable to connect but a C to C cable will not connect properly

It's great! I cut off the male end and used it to convert a few older devices to USB C!
CAUTION!: I only converted simple two wire micro USB to USB Type C. While it could be feasible to fully convert a USB data connection from micro USB to type C, they already sell those adapters. Do not cut any cables and stick them to anything without proper schematic information and knowledge of electrical circuitry.

This works PERFECTLY. I get tired of hauling around multiple chargers to handle different ports. I mostly use USB-C, but I do have a few things that still use Micro USB. This adapter makes life way easier.
