Very easy hookup, just make sure to look at the cable ends prior to pulling, as I had to re-do a couple of them (had backwards). Overall, quality of picture is really good. Still messing with the settings to have the alarm go off at the right point. Instruction book somewhat vague on hooing up to internet in order to watch on smart phone.

PROS: easy to hook up, onscreen menu easy to follow, quality of picture is good

CONS: very vague instruction book - actually, just a single piece of paper, but still easy to setup.
