Does the "active" processing component of these cables introduce any signal lag (milliseconds count)? I'd like to put my consoles in a hidden rack about 40 feet away from the display, but not if it will introduce any appreciable input lag.

BEST ANSWER: I do not see any lag in my setup, I bought a 50' hdmi been testing it continuously, movies and xbox gaming and its flawless to my surprise, I thought it would be a problem but it really isn't. I have an epson 6040ub signal going thru a Yamaha RX-A 3060 with no issues whatsoever.

I haven’t measured the delay caused by these cables, but can say that I have the 50 foot cable running from my receiver to my projector, and don’t notice any latency when playing my games. I wouldn’t be concerned about it

So, I have seen NO lag at all in the signal. I too have my components far from the display with the cable inside walls and going down to the basement and looping back up.... Seems to be working fine.

Is there a reason why the 50ft cable would display HDR with a PS4 Pro and not the Apple TV 4K?

BEST ANSWER: It worked great for me streaming iTunes movies in 4k to my TV. You do need to change the settings on the apple tv. This can be done in settings < Audio and video. Make sure it's set to 4k HDR. My apple TV defaulted to 4k SDR.

Does this cable support 4k 60 hz with HDR enable. I have the cabernet serie and it does not work (50 ft long) ?
Although 4K 60 Hz without HDR is fine. I'm using a Nvidia GTX 1070 on Windows 10.
Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: This cable supports all of the resolutions and video modes supported by HDMI. This cable uses a newer version of the chipset used in the Luxe and Cabernet series cables, so they do perform differently depending on the equipment used.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
We would not recommend using this in any run that is not a single cable that is going directly to the display since that is what it was designed for.
Active cables will likely not work if they are not used in a run that is directly from a source device to a display.

Recently purchased this cable, had ARC setup with my prior passive cable between my TV and Denon receiver with no issues, since switching to this cable, ARC no longer works. Specs say it supports ARC, has anyone successfully used this cable with ARC? Will certainly double check my settings.

What is the difference between the 50ft version of this cable, and the 50 foot version of the Luxe Series and the Dynamic View? Based on the specs listed on this site, looks like the only difference is that the Luxe Series is CL3 rated where the other two are CL2. Any ideas?

Does this cable support HDMI-CEC?

Is this CL2 orCL3 rated. Did not see any rate specification. Should I get this or Monoprice DynamicView Active High Speed HDMI Cable - 4K@60Hz, HDR, 18Gbps, 26AWG, YUV 4:4:4.... ($56). This cable will be used for my projector that I'll be feeding through 1" diameter liquid tuff through the ceiling joist along with 3 cat6 plenum cables. I previously bought the monoprice dynamic view 50' (11/2018) for my 82" 4k hdr TV and its working perfectly fine. My biggest concern is the size of the cable traveling through liquid tuff's 1" diameter and the price point. Also how fragile is this cable? Any recommendations? It will be used with sony 4k projector. Right now the theater room has no drywall or insulation so i can see it all. Thank you

Success!
I used this cable to make a 50' run from my PC to an AV Receiver, and a second one to make another 50' run from my AV Receiver to my projector. 4k @ 60hz successfully and stably established the whole distance.

Great solution for long hdmi runs (50 feet)
my old 40 foot hdmi cable with redmere technology became outdated and would not carry the signal properly anymore from my new receiver to my 1080p projector. This updated cable solved the blackout problems and all is well again. I would recommend this product (50 ft) to anyone who needs to run a cable over this distance.

Works well; no problems
I needed to replace a 50' run of old passive HDMI that ran through my attic, did not handle 4K and was becoming intermittent. I wanted a reliable cable that could handle the latest resolution and that I only needed to run once.

One good cable, one defective
We ordered two cables, one worked and one didn't. Instead of Monoprice sending us a new cable immediately and then shipping back the defective one, we had to send the defective one back first and wait for mono price to receive it BEFORE they send out a replacement. That means WEEKS without a functional cord, and therefore, TV. Disappointing. The one that does work is as expected.

Excellent
Installed a 50ft run for my projector. Passes 18 Gbps 4k 12 bit 4:4:4 HDR 60 Hz to my JVC projector. Works well with the JVC which has a finicky HDMI syncing. No issues over the past couple of weeks use.

Was great until it died...
(lasted less than 60 days, worked great until then)
I actually came back to get another and give it one more try... and they are sold out. So no more projector for now.
All equipment on both sides work great still. Everything surge protected. But the cable in the middle just died. Very sad. I have to fish more cable once I find another.
