Solid, apparently well made USB cable. Provides a reliable connection from my laptop to a USB 3.0 optical drive.

I needed an additional cable for an HP port replicator that I use. The one provided was too short so I purchased this one. As with the other cables that I have bought from Monoprice the quality is excellent. You just can't beat the value they offer for fraction of the price local stores charge.

Series USB 3.0 A to B Cable, 6ft is a well made cable and performs as expected. The cable had a nice tight fit to the equipment, so there is no accidents of coming disconnected. The speed of transferring file was a constant speed of 110 MB/s. I know that the cable could perform faster, but the hard drives that don't run at 7200 rpms will determine on the speed and other factors would affect process and speed. If there was any changes that could be made is the length. I would recommend this cable to anyone.

I have a USB hub that only came with a 12 inch cable, thus far it had been sitting on top of my tower but I didn't like that it would sometimes migrate over top one of my fans so I decided it was time to put it up on my actual desk, this cable did the job just fine.
