Is this HDMI cable directional? Meaning, does one end connect to source and the other end connect to device?

BEST ANSWER: No, it is not. We purchased a similar one but it was 15' long and that one was directional. But, this 6' one was not.

No, this is a PASSIVE cable and as such is NOT directional. ACTIVE cables on the other hand ARE directional.

I don't think so. It's not active cable which should be directional. You can connect any direction.

Either end can go to either end. Not directional.

Is 6ft the longest?

BEST ANSWER: It is not. I purchased a 10ft cable that works just as perfectly as the shorter ones.

Is there a way to check on the cable itself if I got the 10.2 or 18gbps version of this cable? Saw some reviews on amazon of people getting the 10.2 version when they ordered the 18gbps version, and I want to make sure. I dont have the envelopes the cables came in anymore (purchased from Amazon). Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
There wouldn't be anything aesthetically different about the cable.
If you wanted to check for yourself to see if it is 18gbps you would want to use a 4k device and display to see if you can get 4k video at 60Hz through the cable.

Great alternative to thick HDMI cables.
Thin design is astheticlly pleasingly vs. typical thick HDMI cabling. Cabling is visible on my entertainment center. Silver connectors add a bit bling. Was ready to accept some 4K video degradation considering the thinner cable size, however have not detected any. Video is excellent.

Best HDMI cables ever
Don't waste your time with other cables that cost more if you just need a good day to day cable this is it. This particular set of cables interconnect my direct TV - my Sony Bluray - and a high definition source with my Sony Bravia with no signal loss HDMI communication loss or any issue at all. NOTE this is not for 4K these are not certified to run that content. All other HDMI content works just fine

The BEST low profile HDMI cables money can buy!
These cables are incredible. Build quality is better than what I find in my local retail stores, and the price is much more forgiving. I literally use these cables for EVERYTHING I own. Fit is secure and cable is impossibly thin. Nothing else comes close to these cables!

Nice cable
Great quality cable. Using on 2k monitor with no issues. Nice plug in feeling, not tight in a bad way but instead a satisfying feeling when inserted. What else can I say about a cable that works as described and is well worth the money.
