Solid stuff, have used over 6 500' spools at 5 different sites with zero issues. I prefer the spool over the cardboard box as the box format leave a very light kink / bend in the wire that is annoying to deal with. i only order 500' so not sure why i get the box and not the spool sometimes. other than that it has been great

I'm not knocking the quality of this product. If anything, the quality is TOO good. This is some heavy duty cable. You're going to have a hard time using it to wire keystones. Sure, you'll get virtually no line noise, but running it through the wall is going to be difficult at best. The guy is hard to wiggle, and the wires inside are a significantly thicker gauge than most cables I've worked with in the past. It's essentially impossible to use this cable to create RJ-45 connectors. This may be the right cable if you REALLY are worried about line noise or you need to run it through an air vent. But if you're wiring a room or an office, it's overkill and there are other products on this site (and by this brand) that would be arguably a better fit.

The stuff works great outdoors, however. I helped wire my friend's house with it, and his internet immediately doubled in speed and hasn't had any issues since then.

Nothing quite ruins your day more when you spend hours trying desperately to fish this taught cable through the walls, only to find that you cannot for the life of you wire it into a cat-6 outlet without some extreme effort, and there appears to be no tool made to punch it down. I ended up using an AWL and a vice to line up the wires, and if I managed to sneeze before the cap was on I had to start over. Even then, I found I only had about a 70% success rate in making the keystone jacks with standard 110 cat-6 keystones. Give yourself about an extra foot over what you think you'll need, and grab a few extra keystones just in case when dealing with this cable. It's great once it's setup, but it is a challenge to set up!

It works but the jacket is so bulky it won't fit nicely in the rj45. Gave me a tough time terminating.

Heavy cable the additional sheilding adds bulk. Its not as flexible as unshielded. Used to rewire a house for students.probably overkill since I didn't use shielded terminals . it stripped and terminated easily... No problems
