Are the dimensions suitable for airline carry on baggage?

BEST ANSWER: No. Standard Airlien Carry On Size is 9x14x22 -- this would be way too big.
As for checked baggage, most airlines maximum size is 62 inches for all 3 dimensions total. So, this would most likely incur an oversize baggage fee.

Just got this case, and I love it so far. Just what I needed for the right price. But I don't understand how to release the handle on the back/bottom for rolling it around. Any help would be appreciated?

Great trade show case!
Great case! Held everything I needed for my trade show! I checked it on the plane (oversized bag charge - but so worth it not to deal with shipping) and didn?t have to mess with loading docks or finding my containers!

Great Case, Great Price, Undersized Lock hasps
It's a big case, that fits my equipment perfectly.
I think this is a great value.
So far the only drawback I see is under sized lock hasps. But I can get smaller locks, so this is fine - just an adjustment.

Great Case for Celestron Nexstar Evolution 8" Telescope.
I used this case for my Nexstar Evolution EdgeHD 8" Telescope. It works great, and is about $170 less than the equivalent Pelican case (as of February 2019) and a JMI case could be $300 more and doesn't seem to be better. The Pelican is easier to walk with. This one has the handle at the top while the Pelican has it at the bottom (in a more expensive slide-out configuration). The Pelican is a lot easier to walk with, this one tends to hit my shins while I'm towing it, while the Pelican would not.

Pleasantly Surprised
I bought two of these cases primarily because I could not find this particular size to meet my requirements. Imagine my surprise to discover that this case is equal in construction and workmanship to other popular name-brand cases costing much more.
