Nice to find a Null-Modem adapter that's also a gender changer and a mini (slim) all rolled into one!
Serial is far from dead. Still need DB9 items such as this.

It works, cheapest place I could find it at. I had to take the screw standoff things to use it, but it works fine.

Should definitely come with the double-ended female attachment fittings like 1186 does. Whenever you connect two male connectors together with a f/f adapter you need those. I can't understand why item 1186 has them and this doesn't. For every 1204 I buy, I need to also buy an 1186.

PROS: Great piece, small as possible, well labeled, does what it's designed to.

CONS: Missing the double-female attachment ferrules
