Flat enough to fit under my carpet without detection and under my entertainment center too. I painted the ends black so they fade into the table that holds my surround speakers. Highly recommend!!

The coating is marked with length for cutting lengths easy measurement. Just what I needed and worked great and the price was right.

I bought some fishing tape from hardware store and used it to fish this flat speaker wire under the carpet. When I hooked the wire to the speakers I used a regular wire stripper for the ends without any real difficulty. I just carefully rotated it back and forth a couple times to detach the insulation before pulling the plastic covering off. The metal wiring, though flat, stayed together so I didn't lose any fibers.

Works great. I can’t see it under my rug but you can feel it when you step on it.
