The cable is black. It snakes its way through the depth of the server room. Maybe it 'worms' its way would be more appropriate, given how short it is.

PS: I have no idea why Monoprice would want me to review an Ethernet cable. It works fine. That's it.

I have purchased this cables before and both times they come on time and are good quality cables

I wanted an ethernet so I have one less thing on wifi. This cord is 6 inches. I did not compensate for the plug ins on the cord. What I really wanted would be more like an 8 inch cord. This cord wire length is like 4.5 inches and the plug ins are the other length that get you to 6inches.

I like these "flexboot" cables a lot better than the "full boot" ones, which can be too stiff to release easily, especially if you are working in a tight space. The quality is top notch and the cables are working great in my gigabit network. Lives up to the quality I have come to expect from Monoprice.

It does the job, size is not consistent between cables of the same batch.But generally they work fine! Our MDF looks amazing now.

These cables are compact compared to a full boot, and fit nicely into high density patch panels and network switches.

I used over 20 of these cables of different lengths to wire my home network.. I did not consider testing the cables until after I had already run them through the walls. No worries. Every cable is performing as designed. My 1 gb speed is stable at every location. Highly recommended.

High quality construction. Only downside is that multi-packs still ship in individual bags which is ridiculous.

I purchased a 6" cable for a specific application in my home. It turns out that the 6" measurement includes the connectors, therefore the cable portion is only 4" long. I was still able to use the cable but it's putting a good bit of stress on both connectors which would have been avoided if the cable was 2" longer.

The description for these cables should be updated to include these details, or the cables should be manufactured to the length specified without including the connectors.

Perfect size for the patch cabling I needed. All have worked great!
