With the t adaptor, can I insert the male end in to the wall where my cable is coming in and insert Ethernet cables into the female ends and be able to watch cable on two different TVs?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, if you find out where the far end of the cable in your wall eventually plugs into your router, and instead plug it in to the version of the T adaptor with one female port and two male plugs, and plug both male plugs into your router (so you need two free LAN ports in your router). Basically these T adaptors just allow you to use the "spare" wire pairs in your CAT5/6 cable to carry separate Ethernet connections.

I tried that, and it did not work for me. I had to install a "Network Switch" to achieve the goal - it worked great! Honestly, I am still confused as to the relevance of that T-Adapter.

Just wanted to clarify how this is used. It does NOT simply take one network jack and allow 2 computers to use it. Thus, you CANNOT use just one of these.
Network cables typically have 4 pairs of wires, only 2 of which are used. This simply allows you to use the other 2 unused pairs. You need one of these on EACH END. In effect, it would be the same as running two network cables. On each end, you would connect a two patch cords from your network switch to one splitter/combiner, then your independent devices plug into each of those on the other end. Make sense?

BEST ANSWER: Your analysis is correct and thus you answered your own question. That said, you will need to use 2 (two) in-line Ethernet couplings to connect these to either end on the of the single Ethernet cable that runs between the two splitters. Monoprice has these @ https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=7286 .

Yes, you are correct, you need two of these, one at each end of the cable run. However, this will not work for Gigabit speeds/adapters, only 100 Mbps and lower. I think Gigabit uses more than two pair of wires in the Cat 5E cable.

Yes this statement is correct and in addition to gigabit using ALL four pairs so does PoE (Power Over Ethernet). To summarise, the adapters can ONLY be used for 10BaseT (10Mb) and 100BaseT (100Mb) and yes, as is stated on the product page, you need an adaptor on each end (**Sold individually. Need 1 PAIR (2 devices) to work (PID# 1106 or 1107)**). I’m surprised there isn’t an option to buy them as a set (pair).
CAT5E and CAT6 only use 2 pairs and run at gigabit speed. Since this is 5E rated, you should be able to hit gigabit speeds over both of the split segments. Kinda tempted to order a couple and try it out.
As I understand it allows you to connect two terminals but you can only use one at a time. This dangle just saves times unplugging and plugging each of two terminals into one internet source depending on which you plan to use.

I have a single ethernet cable that runs from my amplifier to my game room. Can I use a pair of monoprice product 1107 to do the following:
MP 13358 (BT receiver) and MP 10761 (The Wall Plate) = 2 RJ45 cables to MP 1107 (single backbone RJ45) to another MP 1107 (to split back to 2 RJ45 cables) then connect to both MP 13356 and MP 10761 (The Amplifier)?

What are the pinout mappings for the two female ports, from what appears to be a T568B wiring of the male connector?

Missing pin
This product did not work and 2 others that I had ordered many months ago did not work when applied to my network. I believe that it was pin 5 that did not connect from end to end. I have returned them for replacement.

Received it quickly; which was great, that is the only reason I would like to give this two stars. Only one of the sockets(?) Works for my cat5 cables so when I switch between PCs I have to go into the next room with the router and change the cables. Price and time of delivery was fantastic though!

T Adapter Cat5e 1M/2F - 6 inch
Product works great. I have 2 Roku players in 2 rooms on opposite side of house from my router and have only had one cat5 cable for years. When my son moved out and we made his bedroom another TV lounge I didn't want to run a new line, so this product filled the bill. I had bought something similar on amazon, that didn't work as advertised, so I was thrilled the the Monoprice product works so well.
