Perfect with the GOpro mount accessory for DJI Osmo Pocket cam
Osmo Pocket is a tiny 4K vidcam with a tiny gimbal for stabilized video. Works great. Its the shape of a small flashlight.. or maybe a large "king" in a chess set. They sell and accessory to allow it to use GOpro mounts... this set works nicely with it.
Robust, Functional, & Compatible with Gopro's & other things but without the huge GoPro price tag
Lots of little options and gadgets to build just the right mount setup. Even if you need to rig pieces of Two kits for some reason it's still unbeatable Monoprice Value at a couple dollars per kit compared to $30-$60++ for pretty much any mounts or adapters with the GoPro name brand attached. And this items are just as robust at a fraction of the price.
I purchased this package to use with the Ion CamoCam.. The assortment of different options for mounting the camera in various positions is very impressive. The quality is excellent and the price makes this product an incredible value. As another reviewer stated the instructions could have been a little more detailed, but on the other hand the variety of possible combinations is so extensive that maybe more info wouldn't be realistic. Just grab the pieces and use your imagination to get the result you want. It works.
PROS: Lots of options, incredible value, great quality.
There are things with sticky pads on them and various kinds of straps and lots of little pieces that I am sure will mount the camera to a helmet, roll bar, handlebar, etc. One option if I understand the diagram correctly is to rest the camera on your shoulder? It could have come with better directions and or explanations of how you use all the little pieces and parts.
PROS: Good assortment of options for reasonable price
CONS: Could have come with better directions how to use all the various pieces & parts
The attachments points for the backpack strap are not intended for usage with Velcro and zip-ties. Use at your own risk. The strap mount is best for low impact sports.
Used with the action camera Product ID 10629, and the included Tripod mount.
Setting up the backpack strap was the hardest part. Using a combination of Velcro and Zipties with the included straps to secure the mount onto the backpack. I ended up securing 1 wing completely, and having the 2nd wing secured via Velcro so it is removable.
The setup is semi-permanent and I'm probably not going to use it on any other backpack for a while.
The main strength of this product is the versatility. Multiple mounting options are provided in a kit. Always use the safety tethers as although the action camera is attached by a screw, for whatever reason, if it falls off, the camera isn't lost. Also make sure the screws attaching the wings to the main mount, are tightened as well, as they can fall out easily.
PROS: Mounting to a backpack strap allowed for a great over-the shoulder view for Tough Mudder.
Once tightened, mount is very stable, and attachment screws are hard to remove.
