I like Monoprice stuff - usually good quality and inexpensive. But this died. The apple cord didn't die.

PROS: Inexpensive good size

CONS: Broke after 13 months.

I bought two of these about a year ago, the cables are starting to come apart at the lightning end and no longer work. They were good while they lasted.

This cable is perfect for charging my iPhone while it sits in the attached cradle of a power/USB outlet. It's just the right lengthno more loop of standard cable to deal with.

PROS: short, works fine

This cable died after two months. I hope to return it. It gets a 2 for the 2 months that it worked.

Fantastic, inexpensive cable to use in our 5-port charger. Love the shorter size to cut back on the cable jungle.

CONS: Still somewhat expensive for a cable, but main problem is Apple's greed

PROS: It is the perfect size for charging the iPhone to my Jackery external battery. Doesn't get tangled up with the other cords in my travel bag. Monoprice makes a great product, as it is MFI Certified.

CONS: Wish smaller was cheaper

I ordered this because i recently purchased a 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited, and it has a small compartment to fit a phone or other device that connects via USB. The 4" cable allows me to connect my iPhone without having to stuff a whole bunch of excess cable into the small space.



I just returned from a road trip and it was great being able to access the music on my phone when the cell towers were out of range and I couldn't stream my music.



I did order a second one to have as a back up, but I hope that this one will last a long time, as I do handle it gently.

PROS: Works great for charging my iPhone and accessing my music files. Very compact.

Because it looked and worked so great, I ordered a second one. The 2 I have now are both showing the cord behind the white plastic sleeve towards the lightning end. It is the Monoprice cable, so not sure if they've changed things up in this version by now or not. Considering I'm 2 for 2, that ratio is NOT good and I thought others should know. The item number on both of my previous ones was (10030), so maybe things have changed...



After only a few months of use this happened to both. Very unfortunate. May have to try the Amazon version now...?

CONS: Wire showing and separating from lightning end.

I was looking for a shorter cable because I end up winding the 3 foot cable up and it takes up room and gets tangled on everything. This proved to be great for my luggage.

PROS: 4" is perfect for the suitcase. I can take to the hotel and plug in the lamp and not take up room in luggage.

CONS: It's a little shorter than I wanted for in the car. Truly need 12" there.

Great for in the car charging so the wire isn't getting in the way of my gear shifter in my Jeep. Also convenient for work, extra wires or items on my desk can be bothersome.

PROS: The length is great so it doesn't get caught up in other wires or items.

CONS: Length is not great for using and charging at the same time.
