Although I am not qualified to give professional advice, having installed my 65” using this mount, I would say that this mount will support a 75” panel. There are two like mounts that differ only in the width of the wall mounting bracket. Because this is the narrower of two mounting brackets, I would consider how much you plan to articulate the arms and to what you are mounting this. If you build up the studs behind the mount or you are mounting to a sturdy surface, like stone, you’ll be fine. Otherwise, you might prefer the wider mount. These mounts are very well designed and constructed and come with excellent hardware. The fact that I am buying another one is the best evidence I have.

While it is hard to be certain whether you can fit one, as long as it is within the weight and vesa parameters it should work fine. The only problems I could see are if it is abnormally deep. Keep in mind you will most likely lose some of the left/right or up/down tilt range because the extra width/height might cause the t.v. to hit the wall where a 70" t.v. should not. Also if it has a large bezel it might limit range of adjustment even more as the inch rating of the t.v. is measured diagonally across the screen and won't include the bezel.

is the level on this mount consistent? I.e. if the TV is level when pressed flat against the wall, will it still be level when pulled out? I've had mounts that are only level in one position.

on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: As long as you don’t twist the tv, and the mount was level when you installed it, the level will stay when the tv is moved. It really comes down to the initial install, and whether the TV was leveled when it was attached. The bracket does not have vertical give on either arm, regardless of position

As of today, I've had this mount for over a year,, and so far, my level has not changed. But I'm would say it depends on the TV. Mine is a 65 inch Vizio and the weight is more or less evenly distributed from top to bottom.

I want the TV to be several inches to one side of my nearest stud. Can the the TV be shifted sideways on the articulated arms? If so, how far? Or only in/out and swivel?
A shopper
on Jan 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That should be no problem. On my 60" HDTVs there is space on each side of the two vertical bars that mount to the TV. These can be loosened and slid laterally. Depending on the weight of the TV, and the amount the TV is moved to the side there could be some tilting of the tv. I'd think it would allow a few inches of lateral movement without problems, however. There are plenty of adjustments available. I just ordered another minutes ago.

It can shift to either side, but would be off the wall approx 6" due to the two hinge points hitting their max stop, if you wanted it to be flat. The arms would form a box shape if you push it to either side for the offset you're looking for, which brings it off the wall.

can this be mounted to concrete or block?
New User U
on May 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't see any reason it couldn't be mounted to concrete or block as long as properly sized Tapcons or other concrete anchors are used. I have it mounted to wood and had the opportunity to frame more than a single stud behind the bracket but needless to say, I'm quite satisfied with the sturdiness of this bracket. It's been in use outside in FL for more than a year with no problems.

Yes. The broad selection of bolts, including lag bolts for mounting to studs, also includes plastic (nylon?) anchors for attaching the mounting plate to blocks or concrete.. There isn't anything I could suggest be added to mount this to any substantial structural component. It also includes templates for locating drill holes.

Excellent, thanks to you and to Brad K. I was thinking just to be safe I might use lead anchors instead of the plastic ones and then use the lag bolts. I agree with other users that sometimes even the right sized tap cons don't always "bite".

BEST ANSWER: To determine compatibility with a TV mount to your TV, please determine the VESA mounting pattern on the back of your TV. It is the 4 screw hole square formation on the back and it is usually listed on the TV specs or you can find out by measuring it yourself(measured in millimeters). Our TV mounts range from 50x50mm to 1000x700 and up so please check the TV mount specs for compatibility as well. I hope this helps, thank you!

I was impressed not only with the design, but with the engineering forethought that went into this mount. The mount came with about every type of fastener you could imagine you might possibly need, but most weren't needed. The designers covered all the bases.

The mounting holes on my television are near the bottom of the TV. I am concerned that the vertical arms of this mount will extend beyond the bottom of the television and be visible to viewers. Can the position of the vertical arms be adjusted?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
That all depends on what your TV's VESA pattern it.
You might be able to place the arms for this mount in a position where they cannot be seen if its small enough on the y-axis.

What are the dimensions of the wall plate? A previous answer says 6.5" wide, but that is much wider than a single stud.

I am confused:) The product description suggests the mount compresses to 2 inches from the wall, but one of the answers below notes that the distance from the wall to the front of the bracket is 2.75". What is the smallest possible distance from the wall to the front of the backet? I ask because I have a shallow niche into which I am trying to fit my TV and need to calculate the smallest bracket depth + the TV depth. Thanks!

Does it rotate the TV to the left and right? I need the TV to pull out from the wall and to turn at least 60 degrees to the left to face the couch.

What are the overall width dimensions of the articulating arms when the tv is pushed up against the wall? This is mounting on a fireplace with a stone overlay and I want to leave an empty space w/o stone, so the mounting bracket is completely hidden in the recess.

Unfortunately we would not have an official measurement for that but from the information we do have the widest this would be on your wall would be about 640mm (25.20").

Can you get a speaker bar mount adapter for this TV wall mount? The bar speaker would mount below the TV.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
This mount would weigh 21.54lbs.
As long as your TV VESA pattern would be within this mounts range it would work for this TV.

Holds well on 1 stud
Concerned about stability and strength on one stud, but it worked great and holds well. Haven't moved it around a ton yet, but when I have it was very sturdy.

The mount was fine all around except the few plastic pieces were easy to fall off while installing. They could use a better fastening clip

Great mount for our 65 inch TV
The TV wall mount works well for us. I thought a better explanation video would have been helpful. The pictorial instructions were a little ambiguous.

Works as depicted
Serves its purpose. It was not that easy to adjust the vertical support brackets on the horizontal aluminum braces. The supports bound and didn't slide well. Not the end of the world since I really only need to make it work one time. Or maybe again when I get a new TV. Overall satisfied and would recommend it. I have a 40" TV now and this mount will accept to a 71" TV which is one of the reasons I purchased it. The other and main reason was the single vertical mount to the wall as that is all the space I had to mount between 2 window openings.

Love the Moniprice TV Wall Mount
I bought this wall mount amid the plethora of choices, with two requirements.
The first requirement was that it had to be sturdy, particularly when fully extended. I didn't notice any instability or wobble when the TV was handled.
The other requirement was having provisions on which to mount a LED light strip framework, as shown in the photos. I used the same slots in the two horizontal rails that supported the vertical VESA mounting bars and the TV attachment bracket.
The slots accommodated square nuts (M6 x 10mm x 5mm thick). However, I couldn't locate those nuts in my local hardware stores, so I used square (1/4" x 20) nuts, but with dimensions (5mm thick x 11mm), I therefore filed two parallel sides to bring the height within tolerance (10mm).
For the lighting, I used the GOVEE Smart WiFi LED Strip Lights, which I controlled from the smartphone or the included switch panel.
