Can this splitter be used for digital cable or only analog? Comcast rep said this splitter is not digital and degrades the quality of video. coming from the outside box. Or is that rep just trying to play games?

BEST ANSWER: The splitter is definitely for digital. We're using it on an OTA antenna for HD signal. Those are all digital broadcasts.

I cannot comment for digital cable but I used this with a digital antenna and needed a signal amplifier because the signal does get degraded thru this splitter.

Is this splitter MOCA compliant?

BEST ANSWER: No different than the cable splitters that is already in your home now. You will be using the existing cable wires and splitter in your home for MOCA, so this should work also.

Is this "DC Power Pass" splitter OK to use in a Cable TV/ MOCA setup? Is the DC PASS an issue or cause potential problems, or is this completely safe and perfect to use?

Pulling them out of every job
We keep having to pull these out of jobs because client set top boxes aren't working properly. The cable company comes, replaces the splitter with their own and everything works great. Don't know what is wrong with these, but have a stock of them I'm throwing away.

Works but hard to put on F-connector
Had a hard time locating a local distributor for digital cable box compatible splitters. This splitter does function with Cisco cable dvr's. The threads such that it is very hard to install the F-connectors properly. They may have to be turned with a die to deepen the threads.
