Why are the DC arrows pointing toward the input? If you have an amplifier near your antenna, wouldn't the DC becoming FROM the input? Will this allow power to pass in either direction?
A shopper

BEST ANSWER: For a powered amplifier at the antenna, the DC power needs to be supplied from the receiver box to the amplifier to operate the amplifier. So the DC power direction is opposite of the received RF signal. This is the normal configuration of such "power passing splitters". The RF signal flow is typically opposite the direction shown for the DC path, but passive splitters usually work in both directions for RF anyway.

The arrows appear to be in error. I bought one of these hoping it would work as a combiner, but it didn't. It worked fine as a one in two out splitter.

This would work for that situation if you can get both devices to work when connected to the single port.

Much Lower Quality Than Older Monoprice Coaxial Splitter
I already own a 3-way coaxial splitter from Monoprice (item 10014), which I purchased in August 2021. It has always worked very well. However, I now only require 2 of the 3 outputs from my coaxial splitter.
Because I now only need 2 outputs, I thought to replace my 3-way splitter with this Monoprice 2-way coaxial splitter (item 10013, that I just purchased in December 2022). My thinking was to improve signal quality by switching from the 3-way splitter to the 2-way splitter.
The 2-way splitter that arrived is of considerably lower physical quality than my old 3-way splitter. The plastic portions of the three connectors on the 2-way splitter (one input and two outputs) are made of cheap clear plastic, and do not form nearly as clean a fit with the coaxial cable as the connectors on my old 3-way splitter.
As a result, the output quality from the new 2-way splitter is far worse than that of my old 3-way splitter. My cable television became nearly unwatchable with the 2-way splitter. If I swap the 3-way splitter back in, the quality returns to what it was previously. Swap the 2-way splitter back in, and television once again becomes nearly unwatchable. After repeating this swapping process a few times with the same results, I concluded that the quality problem is definitely being caused by the new 2-way splitter.
Of particular note is that my old 3-way splitter actually looks like the 3-way splitter on the Monoprice webpage (item 10014: gold body, white connectors, and Monoprice branding). The 2-way splitter I just received from Monoprice (item 10013), however, has cheap clear plastic connectors and is not even Monoprice-branded, making me question the source of the disappointing product that I received.
I have attached several photos of the 2-way splitter that I received, in an attempt to show the differences in quality between what I received and what is pictured on the Monoprice website.
I have returned to using my old 3-way splitter that I purchased back in 2021, which produces better output than the 2-way splitter I just received.

The low-quality 2-way splitter, ordered directly from Monoprice, is not Monoprice-branded.

improved signal strength - worked well
Observed less loss using this Monoprice 5-2400MHz 2-way splitter than my existing 5-900 MHz splitter. Received signal level reported by my cable modem increased by close to 1 dB, especially at 700 - 900 MHz.

Works as advertised.
They worked as advertised. However, they weren't any better than the old splitters which were about 30 years old. I thought to update the splitters to try and eliminate drop outs, but had to get a TV signal amplifier anyway. I would definitely recommend this product for whoever needs splitters because of quality and price.

Good quality
Better signal quality than four other 2-way splitters I tried. My cable modem has been synced for six days when it could barely make it two days on the others, at best.

splitter not combiner
I took a chace this would work as a combiner. Unfortunitly, it only works as a splitter. I'm sure it's a fine splitter.
