Are the USB ports switched along w/the outlets?

BEST ANSWER: The switch only applies to the surge protector, and not the USB ports.

Based on the photo, USB charging is "total" 2.4 Amps. Does that mean 1.2 Amps for each of the two USB ports? I want a USB charger that has at least 2 Amps per port.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, each port can go up to 2.4A, but total for the two ports combined maxes at 2.4A.
So a port can output 2.4A if the other port is unused. Or one can output 2A if the other is at 0.4A.

Does the plug "rotate?" If I want the cable to come in from above can I rotate it so that I get a straight line?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the plug swivels from side to side (+/- 90 degrees from the bottom orientation), but does not fully rotate to the top. Thanks for checking.

Could Be Better, but just average

This is a decent power strip if you are looking for something easy that you can also charge your usb devices on without a block. I've found out that having the usb connectors on the actual strip and not on the part that plugs into the wall would have been so much more practical. Not every outlet you will plug into will allow the space needed to connect usb cables at the socket, and even the ones that do tend to get bulky with usb devices hanging out at the wall outlet.
