I assume there's cabling, but the photos don't show it. Can someone confirm each part is physically wired?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, cables are included. There is a link to the user manual under the "Description" tab on the website. If you open the manual it shows how the cables are assembled.

Each drum and cymbal connects to the electronic control with included cable of course. Also includes power supply cable.

How long does it take to completely set up and break down/pack up this set, after a bit of practice doing so?

on Nov 15, 2020
BEST ANSWER: If you take it completely apart, it would take about 15 minutes to reassemble. If you don't have to completely disassemble the set, just remove the cymbals and snare, and fold up the arms; it would only take 5 minutes to get going.

Can the kit be re-configured for left handed players?
Jeff C
on Nov 15, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Looks like it's modular like any other electric drum kit, so I'd say yes. The hi hat/floor tom can be swapped and the two rack toms as well. The snare can be mounted on the right vertical pole instead of the left, and the peddles can be placed accordingly.

The manual is confusing, Does this accept midi signals from your pc and vst's via software ?

on Nov 16, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Why would you want it to. But it does transmit the midi data into your software very well with no noticeable lag. So you can use this kit to control your software drum kits. Pretty cool.

What is the weight of everything but the pedals? Curious at how difficult it would be to pick up and carry it to another room.

Are the kick pedals velocity sensitive?
New User U
on Nov 21, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes. All the drums, symbols, and pedals are velocity sensitive. I'm trying to turn off the velocity actually. I'm just a beginner and would like it to be perfectly consistent. I'll let you know what I find out.

Looking at upgrading my alesis kit used as a rock band 3 controller. My setup works with analog midi input which this doesn’t have (USB MIDI only). What would you recommend to make this work outside of using a different elec-brain which has analog midi?

Good Kit for Beginners
I've been a musician for over 50 years and own a small recording studio. I've been in many bands over the years and though I'm most proficient on stringed instruments, I've always wanted a drum kit. This fits the bill perfectly as it is all I need for my skill level.
That being said, there is (as of the time of this writing) an issue with the Ride Cymbal. The cymbal is supposed to make two distinct sounds: a normal cymbal sound and a "Bell Shot" when you hit it near the center. The cymbal will only make the "Bell Shot" sound no matter where you hit it. There are three possible culprits: the cymbal, the wiring, or the "Host" (brain). I'm about to contact customer service to see what they can do for me.
After a couple of hours of setup and adjustment time, there's no way I'm going to pack the whole thing up and return it for a replacement.
I'll return and let you know how it went.

Two different sounds from Ride Cymbal. (may not display properly).
