Expected Mono out the 3.5mm Jacks but on Left AND RIGHT!
I purchased 2 of these about a year ago and recently discovered this problem. I'll NOT be purchasing anymore of these until they fix this and specify that it's a "Mono RCA plug" to "two mono (on LEFT & RIGHT channels) 3.5mm jacks", or something to that effect. Right now it's only an RCA plug to two mono left channel only 3.5mm jack.
PROS: Made with 'fair' quality like most of there other RCA/3.5mm adapter/coupler stuff.
CONS: The 3.5mm jacks connect only to the LEFT side, not the RIGHT at all. While I knew it would be mono, I still expected that both channels would come through BOTH SIDES! I expected that the left & right channels would be combined and I'd hear that combination in both the left ear and the right ear(if I were connecting these to headphones, which I do for testing/troubleshooting). I don't remember at the moment if I got both the left and right channels in my left ear but the left side is the only one that got any signal! Totally empty on the right side.
Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear PID 7210 did not work out for your setup. Please note that with analog RCA, only one channel would go through a single port. Usually red RCA ports are for the right audio channel while white RCA ports are for the left audio channel. If the setup has analog 2RCA ports, I recommend using two of PID 7180 (one for right, one for left) instead:
