A 50 ft. cable replaced the older cable to my antenna, and I replaced the antenna as well. The combination improved the signal strength about 7 db over an amplified arrangement. The new cable tightens easily and makes sure, tight connections. It is a big improvement over the older cable that came with an antenna.
When I replaced the existing coax cable from my antenna, it solved the issue of loosing signal. It was a little stiff, but straitened out without issue. Minor issue is when I pulled the cable through a wall opening, the end popped off. I was able to strip and re-crimp the existing end.
Ordered the 50ft cable.. can NOT beat the price for similar lengths in major retailers. The cord is as manageable and malleable as your basic coax, no more or less stiff/soft. The connectors seem to be built pretty solid and I've had no problems with it so far.
PROS: Great price. Similar in quality to higher priced cables.
