PROS: Nice stuff 100ft at my door in 3 days. It is nice we have so many colors to choose from. Mine is under the house with all the other cables. Orange stands out I can tell what cable is going where and what it is. Its flexible and can go around corners. connections are well made.
PROS: I think the biggest pro is the cost. By the time I buy cable and connectors and finally get it completed I still may have a bad connection. With Cables that are complete I am done much quicker as long as the connector end will fit through its conduit and the price is great. I have bought all different lengths and colors to have available when we connect our network and computers at work and home
I run Ethernet relatively commonly around my home and work, I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't reach for Monoprice's stuff first.
If your not looking for a permanent installation, I highly recommend spending the extra two dollars for some hook and loop fasteners for it (Product ID: 5816). It will coil tighter and neater. Besides, nothing is more annoying then un-tangling a 100ft cable. You will thank yourself.
PROS: Fast Durable Well made
CONS: Relatively inflexible (true for all good Cat 6 though)
I like the various color options, and will probably order more.I'm converting all my house devices to Gigabit speeds, replacing older CAT 5 cables, one of which had been cut open. Data transfer speeds improved measurably once I replaced the older cables with cables that I made from this 100 ft. spool.
I also ordered the Cat6 Plug Solid W/Insert, which worked very well with this cable.
PROS: Good price, quick delivery, excellent product, nice color options
Needed a long run of Cat cable to go across my house, in the attic, to my new flat panel TV. I was a little apprehensive about the 100' run but I shouldn't have been. It's from Monoprice so all is well. Internet reception is outstanding and I'm happy.
PROS: Very well-made cable, like all Monoprice gear. I love these guys!
