I purchased four 10-foot TRS cables a couple years ago. I recently had one of them short out on me (infrequent use). Using a tester I was able to pinpoint the location of the short (about 6 inches from the connector). I cut off that end of the cable and re-soldered the connector. I tested the cable again after the repair to verify proper function, and discovered another short. I tested the whole length of the cable and found a total of 10 shorts (in each case the insulation was split open on the inside conductors allowing them to contact the shield). Good cables for the price, but make sure you weed out any bad ones before the return window closes (since quality control seems incapable of doing so).

Have always loved the quality of Monoprice cables and this is no exception. Highly recommend!

Looks and feels like quality

Works great! Replaced some less than stellar cables that wouldn't deliver sound to the speakers. Plugged these in and everything worked fine!
