10-Watt (65W Equivalent) BR 30 LED Bulb, 800 Lumens, Warm/Soft (3000K), Dimmable
Get a longer lasting, safe, and affordable alternative to standard BR30 light bulbs using this 10-watt BR30 LED Bulb from Monoprice!
This 120-volt bulb uses only 10 watts of power, but produces 800 lumens of light energy at 3000K, equivalent to a 65-watt incandescent BR30 bulb. It uses the E26 "medium" Edison screw base, which is the standard home screw-in bulb type we're all used to.
This indoor bulb features a "flood" beam pattern and is 2.9" in diameter and 4.1" tall. It uses the Sanan SMD2835 chipset, is rated for up to 30,000 hours of use before failure, and carries a three year replacement warranty.
It generates light in the 3000K range with a Color Rendering Index greater than 80, which generates the kind of soft and warm feeling that is perfect for most home lighting needs. This bulb is fully dimmable without risk of damage to the bulb or a reduction in its expected life span.
Monoprice warrants these bulbs for a full THREE (3) YEARS and will provide a new replacement for any bulbs that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.
PROS: Very white, brighter than 65w incandescent bulb, much less power used.
PROS: Well made. Bright (brighter than the 65W flood light bulb it replaced). Nice color temperature
CONS: Does not dim down very far, so in an array of can lights where I still have some incandescents, this bulb will remain quite bright while the incandescent ones will dim all the way down to barely lit. As I have not tried other brands of LED flood lights I don't know if this is an unfortunate consequence of LED's in general, or just a problem with these.
PROS: Good build quality. Nice light.
CONS: Not really dimmable.

PROS: Bright. Beautiful light. Much brighter than I expected.
CONS: Absolutely none. Buy them. You will be happy
Good color temperature, close to Incandescent bulbs.
I would purchase again, and recommend to others.
PROS: They are bright and produce clean light, and should save money in the long run.
CONS: A bit heavier than traditional BR30 bulbs, but so far not be an issue.
PROS: Solid construction, I accidentally dropped one and it didn't shatter and it works. Very very bright!
CONS: Did I mention they were bright? They're so bright and use very little power that my dimmer switch cannot make them go dark. I am going to need to figure out my options as to what I can do in order to get a dimmer that will actually work.
