    10-Watt (65W Equivalent) BR 30 LED Bulb, 800 Lumens, Warm/Soft (3000K), Dimmable

Get a longer lasting, safe, and affordable alternative to standard BR30 light bulbs using this 10-watt BR30 LED Bulb from Monoprice!

This 120-volt bulb uses only 10 watts of power, but produces 800 lumens of light energy at 3000K, equivalent to a 65-watt incandescent BR30 bulb. It uses the E26 "medium" Edison screw base, which is the standard home screw-in bulb type we're all used to.

This indoor bulb features a "flood" beam pattern and is 2.9" in diameter and 4.1" tall. It uses the Sanan SMD2835 chipset, is rated for up to 30,000 hours of use before failure, and carries a three year replacement warranty.

It generates light in the 3000K range with a Color Rendering Index greater than 80, which generates the kind of soft and warm feeling that is perfect for most home lighting needs. This bulb is fully dimmable without risk of damage to the bulb or a reduction in its expected life span.

Monoprice warrants these bulbs for a full THREE (3) YEARS and will provide a new replacement for any bulbs that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.

Is this bulb appropriate for ceiling "can" light fixtures?
    A shopper on Jun 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used them for ceiling can light and they have worked well. They are an upgrade over the CFL lights in being brighter, come on faster, and have been more dependable. They also save energy!
Are they "instant on" or slow-glow style power-on behavior?
    A shopper on Jun 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They come on immediately with the high level on a dimmer switch but in my case don't seem to at a dimmed level if that is set initially. I have to start high to go low. The are good overall.
Has anyone found a dimmer that will bring these down to very low light levels?

Pretty good, but still not as good as incandescent
Other than the fact that it does not dim down very far (i.e.: remains quite bright even when dimmer is at the lowest setting), this is a great flood light. See my comments under "cons".

PROS: Well made. Bright (brighter than the 65W flood light bulb it replaced). Nice color temperature

CONS: Does not dim down very far, so in an array of can lights where I still have some incandescents, this bulb will remain quite bright while the incandescent ones will dim all the way down to barely lit. As I have not tried other brands of LED flood lights I don't know if this is an unfortunate consequence of LED's in general, or just a problem with these.

    Dimmable, but not very dim
Good quality - bulb has the fit and finish of a durable, as opposed to a disposable, product - very nice. I bought just one based on the comments of others about the dimming capabilities - and I am glad I did. The bulbs would function fine in other applications in our home but these are too bright even at their dimmest to be used in our recessed soffit lighting in our bedroom.

PROS: Good build quality. Nice light.

    CONS: Not really dimmable.

    Great Bulb
Unlike the standard A10 replacement bulbs I purchased around the same time, this thing is great. It's been installed in a high use kitchen ceiling light and has been going strong for over a year! It's a very white color that doesn't seem to go to the yellow or blue side and is brighter than the standard 65w bulb it replaced.

PROS: Very white, brighter than 65w incandescent bulb, much less power used.

    CONS: None

I just installed these and so far I love them. They are brighter that incandescent bulbs. I like them better then CFL because they are instant on and I don't see and color variances. As long as they last I'm a happy camper.

PROS: Much brighter than incandescent bulbs.

CONS: None as far as I can see.

    Dimmable LED bulb
I have used four of these bulbs in the ceiling of my bedroom with a dimmer function. The have a nice warm brightness that is good on full power and dims nicely to a pleasant level when reduced. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

I am so happy with these I am replacing every bulb I can. I started with six. Just ordered 12 more.

PROS: Bright. Beautiful light. Much brighter than I expected.

CONS: Absolutely none. Buy them. You will be happy

    Excellent so far
Puts out more light than I expected for a "65 watt equivalent" device.

Good color temperature, close to Incandescent bulbs.

I would purchase again, and recommend to others.

    10-Watt BR30 LED Bulb, Dimmable
I bought these to replace the traditional BR30's I had in the fixtures in my living room. They use less energy relative to my old bulbs, and produce cleaner, brighter light overall (50-60% capacity on my dimmer is bright enough, compared to 95% for my old bulbs). They use less energy overall regardless, so hopefully they will pay for themselves In the long run. I will update this review if needed, but so far so good.

PROS: They are bright and produce clean light, and should save money in the long run.

CONS: A bit heavier than traditional BR30 bulbs, but so far not be an issue.
