    13-Watt (75W Equivalent) PAR 30 LED Bulb, 750 Lumens, Warm/ Soft (3000K) -Dimmable

Get a longer lasting, safe, and affordable alternative to standard PAR30 light bulbs using this 13-watt PAR30 LED Bulb from Monoprice!

This 120-volt bulb uses only 13 watts of power, but produces 750 lumens of light energy at 3000K, equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent PAR30 bulb. It uses the E26 "medium" Edison screw base, which is the standard home screw-in bulb type we're all used to.

This aluminum bodied, indoor bulb is 3.8" in diameter and 4.7" tall. It uses a Sharp chipset, is rated for up to 50,000 hours of use before failure, and carries a three year replacement warranty. The power factor is greater than 0.95.

It generates light in the 3000K range with a Color Rendering Index greater than 80, which generates the kind of soft and warm feeling that is perfect for most home lighting needs. This bulb is fully dimmable without risk of damage to the bulb or a reduction in its expected life span.

Monoprice warrants these bulbs for a full THREE (3) YEARS and will provide a new replacement for any bulbs that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.

Is this a flood or a spot? Floods usually have a 40° beam angle and spots have a 15° beam.

    Mixed Results
I ordered 4 bulbs to be used in conjunction with a Lutron dimmer. One died within a few days, then another started working intermittently within a few weeks - it works if powered on while the dimmer is set at a dim level but immediately shuts off upon raising to full brightness (and refuses to come back on for hours). I believe the LED itself is fine but the electronics supporting the LED need some work - some safety mechanism prematurely cutting off power perhaps? The remaining two continue to work but they are different color temperatures.

I bought these bulbs based on my great experience with the BR40 LED bulbs from Monoprice. I plan to request replacements under the generous 3 year warranty.

I ordered the PAR30 size to replace Sylvania PAR30 Capsylite bulbs. They do not dim nearly as much as traditional halogen bulbs. These bulbs are also much taller than the Sylvania bulbs, which causes light to flood out of the recessed fixture. With that said, the beam angle is very wide.

    PROS: Bright
    Wide beam angle
    3 year warranty
Acceptable color at full brightness as compared to halogen bulbs

    CONS: Inconsistent color temperature
    Unproven longevity
    Taller than traditional PAR30 bulbs
Does not dim as much as traditional halogen bulbs

    Do Not Buy
I purchased two of these bulbs. Both failed within days of being installed. Product is not up to Monoprice standards.

    Should have read the reviews
Bought 2 on sale to test them out before I bought more. Like the other reviewers one went out after 5 days of limited use.

    PROS: Bright, very nice light.

CONS: Undependable life span, 5 days use, not really worth even the sales price

1 of 2 Bulbs Dead in less than 1 Week
I ordered two of these bulbs. Price seemed very good. After less than one week of very limited use one bulb completely dead. Don't have high expectations for the second. Will seek a refund.

Great value at close out pricing
just as shown/described. All functional. Seem well made. Quick shipping tho a signature requirement for delivery was an unnecessary obstacle to receive package. Would recommend

    Disappointing Quality Control
Bought twenty bulbs on sale. Price was good, but shipping almost doubled the total cost, making the purchase only marginally cheaper than at a Big Box store. Have installed eight bulbs and one failed after less than twenty hours of use. I am hoping this was a non-typical failure, since Monoprice is no longer stocking these bulbs. Monoprice will issue a store credit, but of course this doesn't compensate for shipping. In the future, I think it's better to purchase items such as this from the Big Box Stores.
