Is this a 1 year license or use till it dies? Does it include Publisher?
    A shopper on Aug 29, 2018
    BEST ANSWER: No "Publisher" included.

This is a 'Retail' license: it is a key to authenticate one installation of Ofc H&B 2016 on one computer. You can uninstall and then install on a different computer using same single-copy license. You can only authenticate one installation on one computer at one time. It is your license for eternity. My understanding is that these 'Retail Product Key' editions will receive official MS security updates as long as MS "supports" this edition of Office, but it is not eligible for rolling "upgrades" like Office 365. 365 is the subscription edition and thus will always be eligible for "upgrades" not just security patches and whatnot that the 'Retail' version receives. So ..... Ofc 2016 eventually will be "old" while the pay-as-you-go Ofc 365 will always be the most up-to-date (but you'll always be paying for it). Do the math: single license retail for ?$ but will eventually be out of date or unsupported OR subscription ?$ model that is always the latest update but never paid off. Depends on if you are content with a program that will age or you want/need one that is always the "latest" but never paid off completely. If you stop paying the subscription edition then it's poof! gone... I think the $ amount is even after 2 yrs last time I compared.

    Diference between home &business & home &student?
    A shopper on Jun 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: One important difference is that you aren't allowed to use home & student for commercial (business) purposes. The other big difference that I am aware of is that home & business includes Outlook whereas home & student does not. The other difference, of course is that home & business costs a lot more. But Monoprice sells them for reasonable prices.
Can I get this as a download from monoprice.com instead of having it mailed?
    Jim R on May 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. We would not offer this item as a download. We would only carry it in the Product Key cards.
