Large-Driver Earbuds Headphones with In-line Microphone, Black
You don't have to spend a lot of money to get superior bass response and crisp, clear mids and highs from a pair of in-ear earphones. While most models get by with 8mm or 9mm drivers, these earphones boast 11mm drivers in lightweight, durable metal alloy enclosures, which allow them to move more air and respond more quickly to frequency changes across a wider spectrum. However, drivers aren't the only story. The oxygen-free copper conductors and gold plated 3.5mm TRRS plug ensure maximum conductivity, while the in-line microphone/controller gives you control over audio playback and phone calls.
Large Drivers: Don't settle for earphones with 8mm or 9mm drivers. The large 11mm drivers in these earphones allow them to move more air and respond more quickly to frequency changes across a wider spectrum.
In-Line Mic/Controller: The in-line module includes a microphone for hands-free phone calls and a controller, which allows you to pause or start playback and skip audio tracks.
Lightweight & Durable: The lightweight metal alloy enclosures are easier to keep in your ears and are more durable than the typical plastic types. They also allow the sound to resonate and build volume naturally before it reaches your ears.

For $5 less, these are almost the same quality, with some added bonuses. Cord seems nice and durable, though not as tangle resistant and tough as the 13801's, and without the jack at a right angle. The bass I think is actually a little better, though you maybe lose out in the mid range (they're also a little quieter). The best part is that the inline pause / play button is easy to press. The 13801s button is next to impossible to get to register a press, an obnoxious quirk that makes them hard to recommend.
All in all though, if I had to buy all my headphones again I'd probably put this at the top. The sound quality of the 13801s aren't quite worth the extra 5 bucks, and with this you get a pause/play button that actually works. I'm positive these could go toe to toe with earbuds that cost 8 or 10 times as much.
PROS: Deep, full bass, good mid tones too
Design is actually pretty gorgeous
Mic is great and button is good for skipping / pausing songs
CONS: Large drivers are definitely large and fit a little funny in your ear
Cord isn't as nice and tangle resistant as other earbuds
Sound quality in the mid range isn't as good as the 13801 (which are only $5 more)
PROS: The bass has such a great low/mid-range punch to it, the sound itself is very clear and has no distinct muffle. Microphone works great and everyone has told me the mic quality sounds good. The 3.5mm connector is slim so it can fit in the tightest of phone cases.
CONS: None. This is a solid purchase for what you get.
