    Hi-Fi Light Weight Over-the-Ear Headphones

For true noise-iolation and maximum sound quality, you really need a pair of "over the ear" headphones, like this lightweight model from Monoprice.

These headphones are ideal for portable applications when you want to get the best sound and really don't want to be interrupted by outside noises. They are vertically adjustable to about 1" on each side and fit close to the head. Combined with the light weight it means you can move around a bit and not have them fall off your head.

The earpieces are fitted with thick, comfortable padding which improve the fit against the side of your head and helps keep outside noises from interfering with your listening pleasure. A 50 mm driver and 102 dB sensitivity ensures that these phones produce good volume and clear sound reproduction at all frequencies.

The 47" cord is ideal for portable applications or for use with a laptop computer. The 3.5 mm plug is gold-plated for maximum conductivity and for improved resistance to corrosion over the more common tin- or nickel-plated types.

I went to the bose store before I bought these...
...and I'm glad I left empty handed

PROS: Sound awesome, Better bass and midrange than the bose, awesome soundproofing, great audio fidelity. It's great I'm listening to music and hearing bits that I didn't know were there. Oh, and did I mention I'm comparing these $20 headphones to a $300 pair from bose?

    CONS: absolutely none

A great headset for the money!
Ok so I went ahead and compared both the Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphone & Hi-Fi Light Weight Over-the-Ear Headphone .
    Product 8323 VS 8324
    -Hi-Fi Light Weight Over-the-Ear Headphone Product 8324
I purchased these first and listened to them for a week and was so impressed with them … they were bass heavy and offered up a great eargasm especially knowing they cost a fraction of the price of other big name offerings.
After a week I decided to find out how they stacked up to the very highly reviewed
-Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphone Product 8323
Having listened to both id like to offer my thoughts. As great as the 8324 are with the extra bass, it seemed to me the 8323’s are just better balanced. The mids highs and bass are matched perfectly creating a very pleasurable sound stage for my style of music (edm, hip hop)

So if you prefer more bass then the 8324’s fit the bill but if a more even sound stage is desired then the 8323’s are a better fit.

AGAIN, Monoprice has done a great job and kudos to them as both of these headsets are awesome and well worth the money.

PROS: great design over the 8323's extra bass over the 8323's bigger can size making it more comfortable over the ears for longer periods of time (medium size ears)

    CONS: wire is not detachable

    Decent sound but poor durability
I've gone through 3 of these in the last year. The sound quality and passive noise reduction are a hit but the poorly made plastic pieces holding the earpieces to the headband break in the same spot every time. I'm not hard on my electronics in general. I've never broken a cell phone, camera, mp3 player, computer or set of headphones. These however seem to disintegrate through normal (gentle) use. I could only recommend these for the most careful and infrequent users who are out to save money but still want decent sound (very small demographic).

PROS: -sound quality, strong bass and mid-range without too much distortion.
-passive noise reduction, good insulation from external sound.

CONS: -poorly made plastic, lacks durability.

    WOW! What a difference!
I'm not and audiophile enthusiast, but then again my ears do not deceive me, They are Mine. In a sense I hear what I hear and I can not have the same sense of hearing as everyone else, but what I actually hear is clean clear music. I tested the headphones with several types of music and the headphones just deliver. I listened to George Clinton's "Atomic Dog" and you hear and feel the bass without popping your ears out. Then I listened to Erasure's "Always" and I was transported to a different level of clean sound. Of course don't expect to hear the same sound from music from the 70s as to compare with the modern music of today.
Bose and Monster always have great sound music samples so you can be amazed and buy their product for 4 or 5 times as much of what is actually worth. So If you don't mind the brand and you just want to relax with great music sound, these headphones will not deceive you. I definitely recommend this product, I don't think that you could be disappointed, but then again this is just how I perceive it. You may have different preferences though.

    PROS: Sound is Amazing!
    Reasonable Price.

CONS: Cable is only 3 feet long
Is not Bose? or Dr Dre Beats? Well I don't Care, Would You?

    Can,t beat Monoprice
Headphones are not my primary source therefore I did not want to pay a lot for them. I checked Monoprice and I am glad I did. I purchased the Hi-Fi Light Weight over the ear Headphones and they fit the bill perfectly. The price was cheap and I made the mistake of equating quality with price but it did not matter for something I would rarely use. Boy was I wrong. These are perfect for what I need them for, occasional use. The sound is smooth, not too bright almost natural sounding with solid bass response. Although they are plastic they seem well built. Now, if you are looking for high end audiophile sound and quality then these are not for you. If you are looking for decent sound for not a lot of money, then these should do the trick. Don't make the mistake I did. Price does not = quality.

    PROS: Definitely price
    sound is good
    comfortable to wear

    CONS: cord could be longer
does not handle higher volumes, distorts at higher levels

    5/5
The best headphone quality for the the lowest price that I have encountered.

PROS: Light weight with good outside noise insulation. Nice sound quality

CONS: Necessarily (they are over ear) a bit bulky for my taste.

    2/5
    2/5

    PROS: Good value / comfotable

CONS: This is the second set of headphones that I have purchased, both the same model. Sadly all the positives are i have to say are all turned to a negative rating, because the first set I purchased broke apart ( on the inside arm area the plastic fell apart ) without this trouble I would have rated them a 7 or 8. Hoping for better results with pair number two. If not I guess I will look other options.

    Great for the price.
Good for the price. Got refurbished Sony in similar price range, but Monoprice is WAY better - not only in the build quality, but sound as well. I like to cushioning on the top. Not sure if I really like the folding capability, but it is what it is. Using mainly on my computer to watch movies.

    Very good headphones
I don't know what could be better for only twenty dollars. For the price, these are pretty good quality. Some complain it looks cheap, well, the looks are great and I am replacing several head sets with these. If I did not know better I'd guess these were more expensive. The sound is as good as my $60 set. The volume is plenty high if using on your smart phone like I am (Moto G, E). I also tried them on my lame net book and now I can actually hear things now.

Some headphones don't get loud enough but these are plenty loud. I highly recommend these.

    Delivered less than a week.

PROS: I think these look great. Fit is OK and ear cover material is good too, not the itchy foam like others. The sound is very good. The audio cord is heavy enough and it's not annoyingly too long.

    The price is totally good.

    CONS: none
