I'd love to use it...
I'm going to ride with this a little more to try it. I had to strap it to my helmet with tie wraps since the included straps include no instructions for mounting, and I just couldn't figure it out. A set of instructions, or even a couple illustrations would be great. I ended up downloading the manual for the Poloroid XS100HD which is identical in most ways, and it included some rather cryptic instructions which were worthless.
PROS: It fits the camera
CONS: No instructions for strap use, etc
missing listed pieces
sits a little high

Too big
I bought this for the MHD Cam and after one ride I realized that I can't use it for a few reasons. First once the camera is installed into the mount, it just sits way too high for my liking. We're talking 5-6 inches above your helmet. That's going to catch tree branches for sure.
Second the weight of the camera is very obvious when it is sitting this high on your head. Tilting your head to one side or the other makes you really feel this camera's weight which is not a great thing for anything longer than a 10 minute ride.
PROS: - Cheap
CONS: - Sits too high on the helmet

5/5
There were some issues with the camera at first. When I'd switch it off at times, it would just continually vibrate and wouldn't respond to any input. I would just let it sit until the battery ran out, and that took hours. There's no easy access to the battery, so it's not like I could pull it the tradeoff of having a waterproof cam, I guess. Also, I'd discover that the video I just tried to record would be lost.
This happened several times, and possibly negatively affected the longevity of the battery.
Even though I was using a 16GB class 10 micro sd, I suspected it was a write issue. About a month later I upgraded the sd card to a 32GB class 10 from a more reputable brand and it hasn't happened since.
Other than that, this camera has been a dream.

Just a box of parts
Wish this came with some instructions. I'm pretty sharp with this kind of stuff, and for the life of me can't figure this one out (besides the adhesive mounts anyway). This showed up as a plain white box, with a pile of parts, straps and adhesive pads. The list didn't even match the contents. Sigh... Gonna need to return this one.

Response from Monoprice
Hello Jared,
Sorry for the problem you were having with the helmet mount. It can be a little tricky with the adhesive and intertwining throughout the mount. Also a helmet with similar type groves may be in order to make the install easier. Sorry for all the trouble and if you still have trouble with the mount and need assistance returning it I can help setup an RMA for you. Again my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Sincerely

Great Value!
Finally had a chance to use this mount and it works great. Sticks well to my helmet, only it is not easy to get off once placed. The main thing was that it stayed put. This mount is better on my bike rides (I noticed less vibration when using the helmet mount compared to the bike mount). These reviews are a little off, no instructions... really... it took less than five minutes to figure it out. My first Gopro had no instructions, it's the nature of action cameras I guess. And as far as sitting high on the helmet.... when was the last time you were able to put your point and shoot or phone on your helmet to record video. Want a lower profile, get some electical tape. I do admit it would be a good idea for Monoprice to come out with a low profile mount but this one works great! It does what it should, 10!

Good Mount, Needs More Options.
I have this mount attached to my helmet and it sticks quite well. I wish however that there were more mounts included so that you could mount it to multiple surfaces. Also, the curve of the mount makes it difficult to find a suitable location on the helmet to mount to. After I found a place that was a good enough curvature, I still noticed the sticky pad coming up a bit in a couple of spots due to the curve difference. Luckily however I haven't had the camera fall. I have also attached the other strap item that is included to the helmet and tied the tether to it. This way if the main mount fails or the camera falls, it will hopefully be held on with the other mount.
Here's a YouTube video of me using the camera on my Motorcycle which shows a car trying to hit me. The video is shot in 720p, and shows the usefulness of this mount.
PROS: Sticks to surfaces quite well.
Straps included close tightly.
CONS: Only one mount is included.
Curve of the mount limits mount locations.

Pretty good
The helmet mount stuck pretty well. It was easy to attach and detach and could be tightened down to keep it stable. My only wish would be to make it smaller if possible. I felt it was sitting too high and looked odd.
