Dash Cam Suction Mount For MHD Sport 2.0 Wi-Fi Action Camera
Mount your Wi-Fi® Action Cam to your vehicle's dash using this Dash Cam Suction Mount from Monoprice!
This mount uses a strong suction cup to remain firmly attached to any smooth, flat surface, yet can be easily removed. The mount features tilt and pan adjustments, so you can fine tune the camera's angle without detaching the mount.
This accessory is compatible with the Monoprice MHD Sport 2.0 Wi-Fi Action Camera (PID 12571) and the Monoprice MHD Sport 2.0 Wi-Fi Action Camera with Wrist Remote (PID 12570).
Wi-Fi® is a registered trademark of Wi-Fi Alliance.
The connector for the camera is loose. The camera wiggles within the cam mount itself. In addition to the unavoidable road vibration this caused videos to be unviewable. I had a plastic tooth pick handy and pushed that into the mount/camera connector which held the camera steady in the mount. Once this problem was solved the videos captured were very good. Even the road vibration was not at all disturbing when viewing the videos which is a compliment to this mount.
PROS: Easy to mount
Easy to adjust
CONS: The connector for the camera is loose fitting.
-Works well if mounted to a surface that is angled (like a windshield).
CONS: -Camera cannot be mounted parallel to mounting surface.
-As others have stated, the camera does rattle a little bit while on the mount - it should be a tighter connection.
-It stayed on my windshield for about 30 minutes, then fell.
PROS: It sucks real good. :)
Ball joint for pointing the camera whatever angle you need.
CONS: The connection to the camera is not tight and the camera will wobble around a bit.
PROS: Super cheap compared to the competition.
CONS: The mount is pretty loose and it rattles which makes pretty much any other sound a background noise to the rattle. I have a fix though!
PROS: Suction cup works very well. Mount articulates just enough to be effective.
CONS: The camera doesn't sit tight in the mount and rattles. This causes excessive noise and video instability.
CONS: not enough range of movement to be a universal mount for everywhere
