Is there a schematic / drawing of the case interior? Namely the slots that are embedded in the sides.

BEST ANSWER: No. There was never a schematic / drawing that I ever saw. Only the dimension's. If it helps; I feel the case is very solid. I have imbedded my Canon Rebel 6 with 3 lenses, hoods, filters, battery charger, battery, strap and camera info. I feel confident that if the case was to be dropped with my equipment inside, the equipment would not be damaged. Good Luck, and I hope this info helps.

I bought one, and asked support and received the same answer. It is really sad, as those slots would allow a world of use for these cases. It is funny (no, really sad), support say there are no slots, even though you see the external evidence of them in their own pictures.

No schematic. There are no slots on the interior. It is completely smooth and flat inside with slightly rounded corners. There are 3 or 4 layers (depends on depth of case) of customizable foam to approximate the shape of the items you are placing inside the case.

How much does this thing weigh? The description says 4.76 lbs, but it also says 3.78 kg. These two measurements are not equal. Can someone tell me how much it really weighs? Thank you.

Why does the 14x16x8 hard case have a printed spec of a 13.7 inch depth?
Jim H
on Jan 3, 2018
Do the dimensions (14x16x18) reflect the interior space? I have an item which is 13.4 inches long, that I want to be certain would fit, with room to cut the foam.

Great case! Versatile and well constructed!
Great product, exactly as advertised. The pick'n'pluck foam inserts make the case work for virtually anything you can fit inside. I love it!

Purchased to protect my new portable strobe flash units from Godox. Very happy with my purchase!

Great case, Bad foam
I love the case. Bought it for my mavic drone. Every thing that i need fitted into the case. Sturdy and waterproof which i loved. The foam is another thing entirely. i previously bought a case for my DSLR and was great because there was 1 level of foam. This case has 2 levels of pick and pluck foam so when you are taking something out of the case the top level of foam comes with it. Called costumer service and explained to them and they are sending out a new case which they said has only 1 piece of foam. their customer service was great with handling my issue with the case. should show up soon so will see if it is fixed.

Nice Case
I got this for my Mini E Revo 1/16 remote control car. I was able to lay out the car, controller, charger, and a few accessories. I drew outlines on the foam and plucked from there. There are two layers of pluckable foam so I was able to create height differences for things that where taller, like the car wing. When the foam has only one pluckable rectangle row, the foam gets a bit flimsy. I glued the two layers together and got some rigidity and structure back.
Overall, it is a nice case about equivalent to Pelican at a discount. With multiple sizes of these cases, I will buy more as needed.

Heavy duty for a specific purpose
I use this case to keep an iPad, measuring tape, note book and submission forms when measuring for wheel chair ramps. It's affixed to my motorcycle so the features of water resistance, sturdiness and foam lining is important. Shock resistance and weather resistance was very important. The size allows for all of the items I need to be safe. Having the ability to lock the latches is a bonus.

Good case
The case is exactly what you think it is, hard, weatherproof, and has pick-foam on the inside.
It will not come open on you as the latches are quite tight, not that it is bad thing, but should be noted. They are rather loud when closing, also as a note in case you are intending on using them in a quite environment.
CONS, no easy way to utilize the interior mounting system, as there are no accessories or even the dimensions available to build your own. They can be seen on nearly all of the side shots, 2 bumps on each side. Here is an example ( www explorercases com/en/accessories/panel-rings ) of what could be done. Note the black pieces that slide down into the orange case.

Excellent for my sound recording equipment!
I purchased some sound recording equipment and didn't want to throw them into a bag when on the road, so I bought this case. It worked amazingly! I was able to put my Sennheiser MKE600 and accessories & Røde Filmmaker Wireless lavalier System in one case. It fit perfectly! I wish I could add photos, but oh well. Great case at a great price.

Very well made with very tight latches
He hard case is very well made. My only issue, and this may get better with time, are the latches. They're very tight to latch shut. This might be for the waterproof seal.
