wheels are replaceable? Are these standard skate wheels I can replace with some good bearings and poly wheels?
    A shopper on Jan 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. We would not have information regarding the wheels. Please keep in mind any modifications to items may void the warranty carried on the item. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Are the handle and wheel assemblies removable, like the Pelican version?
    A shopper on Jun 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The handle and wheel assemblies are not removable.
Is this case TSA Friendly? Will it fit in overhead storage? According to the dimensions listed here on this page, it's about an inch too thick (TSA says 9 inches max. is case is 10 inches)?
    A shopper on Mar 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have successfully flown with this case as a carry-on between LAX, JFK, MCO, and DEN on American Airlines. It fits in their little size checker at the airport.
I tend to only fly American, so I can't speak on any of the other ones. One thing to note is that I had a small plane once on American (Operated by American Eagle), and I had to fit the case length-wise in the over head bin. Somebody's personal bag got the boot. The flight attendant made the owner put it under their seat. Lol.
Can anyone tell me if this case will accommodate Pelican accessories like the Pelican 1519 Lid Organizer or their padded divider set?
    Symon C on Mar 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It should fit the padded divider set as the interior dimensions are nearly the same. As for the lid organizer, on the pelican 1510 there is an extra amount of plastic molded into the lid where the screws for the divider tap into so they wont breach the top. If these bosses are not included with the Monoprice version, then the lid organizer will need to be attached another way. Most likely by some sort of adhesive.
How many and of what size are the layers of foam in this case? Thanks-

Will this fit monoprice mini delta?
    Luke K on Nov 24, 2017
Are these hinges easier to use than the Pelican hinges?
    Scott C on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The hinges are easy, I'm not sure what the problem is with the pelican. The hinges are really secure and open without any issues.
Are the dimensions listed for the inside or outside of the case? I have something that is 13.5" wide that I'd like to use this for.
    Carissa A on Mar 3, 2017
    BEST ANSWER: From the description: 20.51" x 10.94" x 7.48" (521 x 278 x 190 mm) internal dimensions

    good case garbage wheels
so instead of buying pelican i bought one of these cases to give it a try since i had used plenty of other small cases from mono price without wheels. Well on the first day while dragging the case thru parking lot after gig i realized one of the wheel started making noise when i checked it got some dirt stuck inside the barring. couple days later the wheel just came off !! i have reached out to Monoprice customer service 3 times for this with no response at all to try to get this fixed in warranty !!

    PROS: good case

CONS: heavy and wheels come off or get dirt stuck inside the wheels barring balls.

    Solid Product
I have been looking for this EXACT case at a fair price for quite some time. The more well-known national brand is outrageous with their pricing on these type of cases. I hope Monoprice will consider producing other sizes of wheeled cases to give broadcasters on a budget an option when it comes to taking care of and transporting equipment.

PROS: Solid construction, good wheels, versatility with the foam insert, fair price

CONS: Just put this case into service and so far, I haven't found a negative

    Pretty good case
I purchased this case to carry sound equipment and have no problem with the shell as it appears to be as well built as more expensive options. I'm not a fan of the Pick N Pluck open cell foam (which is in this case), however, and had my fingers crossed that this case had closed cell foam. Although I will be replacing the former with the latter, I thought I would suggest that Monoprice have the manufacturer slice the foam layers in half (horizontal axis). They're too thick (height) which will result in a lot of wasted space if this case will be used to store multiple layers of gear. If someone is going to store one level of larger gear, it's probably ok.

    PROS: Good shell

CONS: Foam layers are too thick

    Good value .....but....
Ok for price but funky label and stripped screw head kind of ruin the fun of buying something new and getting something that looks "closeout" quality.

PROS: Good P*lican clone, looks to be sturdily built, perforated foam looks to be of good quality

Handle locks in place when not needed, wheels look to be of good quality.

Latches seem secure and operate without too much force.

CONS: Funky Monoprice logo/lable is falling off right out of the box, I like the logo it's one of those thick plastic shiny labels with the Mononprice Logo, actually looks nice, but it's curling up ready to fall off.

Also on the bottom of my case there is a black painted philips screw that did not screw in all the way and they spun the driver in it, so it's kind of funky.

I almost feel like I was sold a "second" off some bargain table.

    So far so good!
I've only had the case for a few weeks, but it seems well built. I customized the foam to fit my DJI Ronin-M and so far I haven't had any issues. I've read negative comments regarding the wheels, but I hardly use them, so I can't comment on that. I'm pretty easy on my equipment, so I can see this case lasting for a while. The price was almost half the price of other brands with similar specs, so I'm a happy camper.

great price on a solid case
This was a great price on a very solid case and it also has wheels and a handle. The foam is great to equipment safety.
