What is the purpose of having two RCA jacks on each channel? Are they wired to allow passive mixing of two sources into a given channel? Or are they paralleled to allow loop-through types of setups?
BEST ANSWER: The RCA Inputs are summed mono to their respective channels. This allows stereo inputs to not loose half their signal when used as a dual mono zone system. If you want to get creative with devise volume controls you could plug two mono RCA in to the Red/White inputs and get three channel per zone.
Can i power 4 speakers with this? Two in a mono channel, and another two in a seperate mono channel?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, as long as the impedance of each pair of speakers does not drop below 4Ω. For typical 8Ω speakers, wiring two in parallel will result in 4Ω, which is just fine. For best results, each pair of speakers should be the same model so that they are equally loud.
Is the power 60wpc into both 4 and 8 ohms, or is it 30wpc into 8 ohms and 60wpc into 4 ohms?
BEST ANSWER: This amp will put 45W into 8Ω x 2
