Is this a surge protector too?
    A shopper on Aug 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe so. I use it for our church sound system and it is wonderful. No more speaker Pop, 3 zoned sequences, with 2 non zoned plugs in the front of the unit. Serves our needs quite well.
Can this power sequencer be wired with a remote switch?
    A shopper on Feb 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There are no provisions for adding a remote on/off switch. Such a switch would be a very desirable addition to this unit. The remote on/off switch should have LED lights to show the zones powering up/down.
Are there any CAD drawings available for MONOPRICE equipment? it would sure make it easier to specify your products for our clients' projects.
    Pierce M on Apr 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: As a purchasing customer, I have absolutely no idea as far as CAD renderings. I can say that this product works as listed and I have zero complaints.

The only thing which took time was identifying the zone assignments (the "turn on/turn off" procedure) for my equipment - I have a 18 channel mixer (with up to 10 dynamic mics/ instrument inputs), a two-channel power amp for monitor speakers, two keyboards (with their own separate sub-mixer) and two 1000W keyboard speakers PLUS one main output from the mixer to a powered 1,000W speaker...it took a while, but I can push one button and get everything powered-up with no 'pops'.

    Hope that helped.

    Works great
Used it to simplify turning on and off a complex audio installation. Let's all the components be turned on and off in the correct order. This is important in preventing any harmful thumps being sent to speakers when amps. are turned on and off in the wrong order.

    No more manual staging!
Finally got one! I just installed this to stage-on/sequence three racks of audio gear. Does exactly what I wanted, anyone can flip a single switch. Safely powers-up and down loads, with NO noise at all. A real must for anyone with multiple audio loads.

    Excellent Surge Protector/ Sequencer.
Power on is very quiet. Sequencing is a plus. Only 4 small led's on the front. Does what it's suppose to at half the price of other brands. Solid construction. Recommend A+

    Very happy with this component
We are using this for a rather unique application. The Amarillo Railroad Museum has a 50 x 75" two-deck layout which is run using digital command control (DCC). We needed a way to sequentially turn on series of DCC components so that proper phase is maintained. This unit worked very well, and it looks good too!

Excellent. Comparabale to other boxes selling for twice as much
Treats your stereo rig like pro gear, turning amps on first, then components in 2 stages. Turns off in reverse order.Operates with a single toggle switch. Extra long power cord. Sleek, looks sharp. Thin and light weight. Front indicator lights tell you exactly where you are in the on or off cycle.

It is also a power conditioner to protect your expensive gear. It is so convenient to control my two Crown amps and all my components with a single master switch.

Awesome addition to our Church Sound System
GREAT unit. Solved our speaker Pop problem in our church sound system. 3 zoned sequences are Awesome. This is a must have for any A V system with amps, speakers and other powered devices

    Works well, but arrived damaged
I was excited to try this because the price is great. I've purchased 2. First one worked great. Second one works good, too, but the green LED for power group 2 is missing. I need to return it but it's a hassle because I need to put something in it's place while I sent this unit back and wait for a replacement. I wish there was a way to do an advance replacement. Other than this issue, it seems like a good product. Other similar items cost 2-3 times as much.

Not bad for the $, but 2 concerns
The sequencing in this works great! But its low-mass suggests there's not much (or any) transformer or choke in it. Products like Furman conditioners are *heavy* because there's a lot of iron in there for a good reason. So I'm not so confident about its AC noise filtering capabilities. Also, the legend on the front panel is wrong about the AC wiring fault. The light (green) is supposed to come on if there's a fault, but its labeled something like AC Supply OK. In other words - inverted meaning. Also - why use a green LED for an alarm condition? That's also backwards. A little bit of product designer input would have made this a better product that I'd be happy to re-order for my next installs.

    Excellent, under-stated little amp
This thing is amazing. Bridgeable, soft-clipping, two different types of connectors for inputs and outputs. I have only one gripe, and it's not about the fan: The bright blue power indicator LED is really too bright. It's literally the brightest, most noticeable thing in my equipment rack now, and when I'm kneeling down in front of the equipment when the room is dark, that blue LED blinds me and makes it difficult to see other stuff in the rack without me covering the LED with something. It's so intense, black sharpie ink isn't enough to lessen its brightness significantly.
