    Can the height be adjusted?
    A shopper on Aug 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your interest in this drum stool. Height is only adjusted by how far the legs are spread.
Can a child use this? I am trying to find a drum throne for a kid age 5.
    A shopper on Sep 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, there is not much adjustment but it is quite short. If it is too tall you can take advantage of our 30-day money back guarantee.
    What does it weigh?
    A shopper on Feb 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is very, very light. However, my drummer is a man of substantial carriage, and it holds him just fine.

    Kid's Stool..
Not a bad stool for 13 bucks...
It is NOT adjustable. Pretty much one height. I kept it to use for small people in the studio (guitar players...etc.)
Would make a nice drum stool very a small person or for a kid's set...

    PROS: Inexpensive..

    CONS: Not adjustable..

    Short and flimsy
Well, it's cheap, in every meaning of the word. The build and material quality sure are sub-par for what I'm used to getting from Monoprice. It is not sturdy feeling at all. For $13, I suppose I don't have much room to complain, but sheesh this thing is kinda dumpy.

ALSO... It's on me that I didn't read enough into the description, so I'll reiterate for any potential customers: It is very short and not adjustable. I wish I had realized that before I bought it. Make sure that 18" is the exact correct height for your playing. If it isn't, than this stool is not for you.

It's not worth the $13 for me to hassle with a return, so it'll find use in my house somewhere... Just not behind my drum kit.

    PROS: Cheap, as in inexpensive.

CONS: Cheap, as in flimsy materials.

    Excellent for child
Bought this for my 8yr old to go with her first electric drum set. Works great for her, but when I try to squeeze in a few minutes of my own, it doesn't raise up tall enough for anyone above 5'4"(knees rest above my hips when sitting, not ideal for controlling kick pads. Also might need a little more padding than this if you weigh more than 150 lbs. excellent for child!!

    Good Enough
This a fine product for $20.00 and serves my purpose quite well. I bought it for an electronic kit in my studio. It arrived as shown and is what I expected at this price point which is why it deserves 5 stars. The complaints that it's not adjustable are not technically accurate but the level adjustment is quite small. It's clearly designed to sit at 18 inches which is what the description says. You might be able to get an extra inch. Regarding quality, sure it's a cheap stool but works adequately in a pinch or for a practice kit. The build is what you'd expect for $20.00. If one were to take this on tour and use it every night I doubt it would last three gigs. Most serious drummers I know would certainly only buy this as a back up but they'd also agree (again) at this price, that is exactly what this great little stool is suited for.

    PROS: price

For the price, it can't be beat
For those expecting a Roc N Soc quality seat, dream on. Come on people, this is a tenth of the price, and for what it is, it does a good job of. It is somewhat adjustable on the height unlike what the other reviewer mentioned. There are 2 areas where you can fasten the seat and seat height.

    OK for small drummer
At 6'1" this sits just a bit too low for me and at 200lbs it is not the most stable throne I've used. That said, it is hard to beat for the money if you are a smaller drummer.
