I've had some fairly expensive guitar cables in the past, but this is actually one of my favorites. The cable itself is good quality. Flexible, moderate thickness. It's actually 3 conductor microphone cable, which doesn't make any difference, but is just interesting. The benefit to me is the connectors have a great design and it's built in a way that is durable, but if there ever is an issue with the connection, it could easily be repaired (by someone comfortable with soldering.) They are good quality plugs, on par with switchcraft, but I think I prefer the design of the Monoprice.
This is by far the best deal on a short, right angle cable out there. I purchased these to build my guitar pedalboard with. I've used all the high-end cables out there such as Lava and George L. I've gotta tell you, these are almost as good. The only thing thing not as good on these are the pot metal ends. The cable quality itself surpasses the others though. As far as sound quality goes, these are amazing. In a blind test, I couldn't hear the difference between these and cables costing 10 times as much. I ordered one extra just so I could pull it apart to see what it was made of. The guts of these are every bit as good as the more expensive options. Overall, great quality and great price.
I bought these and some slightly longer ones for wiring up my pedalboard I just built. No problems with any of them. See very durable, and are well shielded. As I mention above, they could stand to be more flexible, and have smaller connectors, but for the price, I can't really complain. I would definitely buy these again when I need some more.
PROS: - Well made
- Seem very durable
CONS: - Could stand to be a bit more flexible
- Smaller connectors would be nice for fitting in tight spaces on my pedalboard
Amazing quality for the price. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much because they're so cheap, but good lord, these are on-par with LiveWire and Monster's quality, no doubt about it. Rugged and super durable design. They even look good! I HIGHLY recommend these cables. Hell, I'm gonna buy me some more right now.
