Where did you find the fixture profile from Jands Vista? I am unable to locate it. Not seeing any fixtures for Stage Right in Jands Vista database. Is it under a different name maybe?

    Thank you.
    A shopper on Dec 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Jands has these fixture profiles under Monoprice, not stage right. The most current library from Jands has both a 12 channel and 16 channel profile for these movers.
Which controller and version should I use?

Do these flicker at a higher frame rate camera?
    Gabe T on Nov 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have used these as basic front light in front of a couple of Panasonic HD cameras and did not notice a problem, but really wasn't looking specifically either. The fact that it didn't catch my eye is definitely a good thing.
Can this light be truss mounted? If so, where are the mounting points located?
    Edward K on Jul 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Has the fairly conventional u-bracket mount that fastens via thumbscrews to threaded inserts on the bottom of the fixture. Looks a little lightweight, so you'll want to be double-certain to safety cable this fixture up. Also the hole on the bracket is likely going to be too small for whatever clamp bolt you want to use, so you'll have to drill.
    How does it zoom?
    A shopper on May 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: First, remember it's a wash, not a spot. However, it does an okay job at zooming. We are using a few of these about 35 feet up to backwash a church stage. It can be zoomed in to isolate one singer.
I need a profile for this fixture in either 12ch or 16ch for GrandMa2. Can one be made?
    A shopper on Apr 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: One can be made but you will have to go through the MA lighting website to have them build one or build one off of their specs. I built one that worked for my LSC lighting board and then LSC took it and tweaked it a little to make it function better.
Are there any other tips to make these fans quieter besides putting a voltage change in line?
    Steven M on Aug 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: None that we can recommend.
Is there any way to reduce the fan noise?
    A shopper on Jun 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: In customer reviews, "Dave B" said he put a 24 to 12 volt regulator in the fan circuit to reduced the noise.
    No "how to" details.
What's the diameter of the head of the light?
    New User U on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your interest in this moving head stage light. The head has a diameter of 10.2".
What is the warranty on this fixture?
    Andrew K on May 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: All Monoprice components have a 1-year warranty.

    High Value Movers!
I purchased 4 of these for our church. We use Jands Vista and I was able to download 12 and 16 ch fixture files from the Jands website and start using these fixtures right away. They are quick, quite, and bright. The color mixing is nice and the movement and zoom is smooth. We added these alongside some Blizzard Rocklite RGBAW static PAR64s, and they color mix better and are significantly brighter. The box included a power cable, a 3-pin DMX cable, and a bar clamp.

    PROS: Great Value

    CONS: N/A

    Great product for the price
I considered these to be a "cheap" version, and didn't expect much, but I was presently surprised how well made the lights aparently are. I purchased three for the private school chapel / auditorium and they've all worked just as advertised. They're plenty bright and have a lot of capability. Be advised, however, they don't have a Nutric Powercon out for stringing multiple lights together.

    Very bright. Very loud.
Bought 2 of these. One was quieter than the other. One was louder than 16 Altman phoenix rgbw and 4 elation platinum spot 5rs running at the same time. One had a broken lcd screen. Still worked but cracked and loose from fixture. Both had around 20 hours on them straight from box. I assume from testing after assembly??? The one quieter one did performing amazingly though.

    A nice instrument
Just hung two of these in our professional theatre and it looks like they will do some nice things for us. Intensity is very nice, and the zoom feature was a requirement since I'll be mainly using them at the 10 degree setting. The lights are 20 feet in the air on a 40 foot wide stage, to be used mainly as a highlight or backlight. It will fight a whole array of ellipsoidal spots and fresnels so intensity is top priority. The motors are smooth, fast reboot, and very pure colors. It would be nice if the zoom range was more like 30-5 degrees, but that is NOT a complaint, just a wish. So far I think this is a great light for a great price, especially if you can live without the "high end" name tag and accompanying price.

    Big Light, Little Money
So far, so good with these high-value movers. Four units in our theater for almost a year without issues. Zoom is a major plus. Yes, they are noisy. There are 3 fans, 2 in the base and 1 one in the head. Inserted a voltage regulator to reduce fan motor voltage from 24v to 12v, and have reduced noise appreciably, without any noticeable heating.

    Great Light for little $$
This is a lot of light for very little money! Very bright. My Jands Vista console already had a profile for them, so that was easy. They are very bright, and the zoom is useful, colors are rich and saturated. I have no complaints, especially at this price point.

    Very Happy!
Very pleased with this unit. Well built. Easy to operate. Hopefully there will be a future version like this with an added Amber/UV LED. I'd gladly pay extra $$ for this feature.

good features, needs some circuit work
We purchased one of these for our church to use with our road hog board. It has potential; zoom, pan and tilt are all good. The RGBW color mixing has some color temperature issues; it's a cold white so it difficult to catch the warmer colors (deep purples are hard to get too). Out of the box, the green LED's flickered visibly and 97% and up. all that would have earned it 3 stars, and we wold have been be happy with it for the price.

However, 5 months into our use of this fixture every time we change the focus(zoom) or pan and tilt, the light strobes uncontrollably and is extremely obnoxious. Basically, we have to set the pan, tilt and zoom and leave it the entire service.
