Stage Right SoftStage 80W COB LED Stage PAR (RGB with 30° and 80° Lens)

COB (Circuit on Board) LED stage lights offer a more refined source of light for stage color, ambient architectural, and up lighting. COB LEDs provide higher brightness and do not suffer from the shadowing that can be found on some multi-cell LED fixtures. Enjoy millions of color combinations and at least 50,000 hours of bulb life. Dimming is smooth and glitch-free, even on video or filming thanks to the 1.5kHz refresh rate. Use as many as you need in small facilities thanks to the convection cooling, since there are no loud fans to distract your audience or recording microphones. Use the included dual yoke brackets to suspend the fixture from a lighting truss or use as up lighting with units on the floor.

How many lumens is this light?
    Marty P on Jan 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for bringing this to our attention we will post soon. For this unit lux is as follows:

    Distance R G B ALL
    2M 1088 1841 348 2955
    4M 311 497 97 800
    8M 97 131 30 231
Is there an existing personality in the ETC fixture library for this fixture? I'd like to buy about 12 of these but don't wan to bother if they won't work with my Ion board.

BEST ANSWER: Look in the board, for generic rgb dim profile. It also play with the dim curves built into the light, they are handy when doing smooth dimming in theater style.

    Almost great
I got 2 of the 80W variety to test. Despite the cons it's a great light for the price. Definitely, an ability to attach light modifiers (snoot, barn doors, etc) would be a great improvement.

Pros: good light output, pretty well shaped 30° beam (with spill, sure, but the price!), completely quiet (no fans but didn't get too hot to touch after hours on white).

Cons: the whites didn't match (out of 2! but can be manually adjusted). The so-called 80° Lens is just clear glass which leaves visible color shadows at the edges of the beam (diffusion gel fixed that)

Great Lights for what they are
I have 12 of these lights in a permanent installation and the lights do a really great job and look nice. However, there really needs to be a good way to use a barn door. The off axis light reflection is significant and lights up our truss area more than any other led or traditional par can.

For the price they are awesome, but not perfect.

    80W LED Par
It's a nice light with good engineering and quality workmanship. Bright enough for what I use it for and 2 lenses is a nice touch. I wish it could have a wireless option.

    Silent, smooth dimming.
Nice light. Totally silent, smooth dimming. The color temperature of 'all on' is a little blue (7800K), but adjustable 'down' to 4100K (the output of a Halogen Fresnel) easily. As previous reviewers have noted, the 'wide' angle lens is really not a lens at all, but a diffuser. The lack of barn doors is also a negative, but the beam spread is only about 6' at a 12' distance, so barn doors not really needed.
