They sound great with good highs, mids, and lows. The class D amplification is nice because you achieve a lot of power without a lot of electricity or heat. I can drive these speakers hard and get a lot of volume before they start clipping. At small or medium sized venues I would be confident using a pair of these without subs. They accept a wide variety of inputs and the line out allows you to daisy chain these or pass the signal through to subwoofers which I do. There is a knob to adjust the signal strength separate from the volume so you can give a strong signal to other speakers in the chain without cranking the volume on the first which is a great feature. For ceremonies I can run a single speaker off of a battery/ 200 watt inverter combo no problem.
The speakers are big, but deceptively light. The handles make it easy to mount them on stands or carry and the wheels are a nice touch. My one complaint is that the speakers have a round top so you can't stack one on top of the other and wheel them around together.
I opened up these speakers to examine the guts and the insides are clean and nicely put together with well secured boards and drivers and nicely soldered connections. Not that I plan on blowing a speaker driver but it is nice to know with these cabinets they are easy to replace.
I would expect to pay twice or three times what I did for a speaker of this caliber. As is after buying these I feel like I robbed a guitar center. A+
PROS: Class D amplification, powerful, solid construction, easy to take apart/modify, sound fantastic, easy to transport.
CONS: Not stackable
Various inputs and output jacks
CONS: Only 150 Watts
I bought these on sale, but the sale price didn't include free shipping. The actual end total was within $5 of what it would have been at regular price with free shipping. If you need good powered PA speakers for not a lot of money, you can't go wrong with these.
PROS: Very light.
CONS: If you're not using these on mounting stands, make sure the lock screws are tight. I thought I had a bad tweeter due to noise when it got loud. Turned out to be the locking screw rattling.
PROS: Excellent sound, good construction, made out of very hard plastic, good acoustic, price , unbeatable.
CONS: The box that came in, lacked of protection, the speaker came with a a dent, not much, but it had to be mentioned, besides that, everything else, was of my pleasing.....

PROS: Great sound, great bass, plenty of power, and easy to take around
CONS: None that I have found
PROS: Price point build seems pretty solid.
CONS: None so far. Pretty new to our arsenal summer gigs are just startingif you don't here from me by the end of the summer you can assume I have no complaints!
PROS: Light weight, clear highs . Decent sound!! Really cheap!! Look like a very serviceable speaker!!
CONS: My speakers came dead on arrival I unscrew the screws on the back and saw a wire that was unsolder. Solder the wire back and everything worked fine.
As others have mentioned in past reviews , one of the grills was dented on receipt. Not too noticeable, but still a dent. I think the sound quality is exceptional for a speaker at this price point. The balance between highs and lows is quite good. The cabinets are attractive and the visible build quality is excellent. I have not opened the cases and looked inside, but I hear no rattles or buzzing at any frequency or volume level. The controls on the back are smooth and work as expected.
I plan to use them as the main speakers for a portable outdoor theater system, and for that purpose I think they will be excellent.

I spent a few hours trying to tune these things, but I just can't get results I like. My mistake may be that I bought these for a very large living room. I've never bought PA speakers before so I thought this would fill the room well. My problem with them is that the treble is so unbelievably loud, while the bass is so underpowered in contrast. Even when I turn the treble all the way down and bass all the way up, it still seems mismatched. I wondered if the powerful amp was connected to the tweeter instead of the woofer. I have a 100 dollar pair of computer speakers that can blow these woofers out of the water.
These will be fine for my daughters birthday parties, but I think the sound is just too harsh and unbalanced for everyday listening. Sorry monoprice.
I should have waited for more reviews before pulling the trigger
PROS: Treble is super loud
CONS: Bass is super weak
