Questions and Answers
When I first got the mic and plugged it in, it wasn't detected by Windows. I thought maybe it was the USB port I was plugging the mic into... well at first I was right, I tried 2 more ports and on the 3rd time plugging it in it worked perfectly. Sounded great, was easy to control in Windows, worked great on my Twitch stream and even with my recording software.
After my stream I shut down my machine, when I came back the next morning and turned my machine on the mic did not detect again, so I switched it around a couple of USB ports and it detected after a few tries. I decided to stream again and halfway through the stream the mic stopped working. At first thought it may be my motherboard having issues with the USB ports, but quickly realized that wasn't the case when every other USB device was working fine. I proceeded to test the mic on 3 more systems, it would no longer detect.
The reason I am rating this item a 6 (even though I had problems with the device) is because the manufacturing quality of the mic was on par with some of the extremely high dollar mics I had looked at previously and when it did work, the sound quality was on par with most of them as well.
I think I just happened to be the person who got the one bad one, which happens. Monoprice was quick to issue me a return shipping label and have authorized for a refund to be sent. Thank you for standing behind your products and your return policy.

PROS: Audio Quality is fantastic, and it really shines at removing pretty much all background noise
CONS: The included stand is meh, but if you're just using this for a podcast, or if you travel and have to bring this with you, its ok.
If what you need is an affordable and superb sound quality mic for desktop use such as VOIP, this is perfect. If you aren't going to use it as a desktop mic, the stand would be wasted, but imo, it absolutely is still a good buy even if you don't want the stand.

Very nice desktop stand, very weighted and extremely easy to adjust and lock microphone in any direction

CONS: Doesn't come with shock mount
PROS: Great pickup without distortion.
I've even had people ask what mic I use online.
Recommend ordering a boom type mic stand also.
PROS: This was found to a high quality microphone for a computer world.
CONS: No shock mount
I got this one on the off chance that a professional level microphone would do a better job. Long story short, problem solved. It picks up my voice clearly and transmits it loudly.
The only problem I had is that it was so tall it was blocking my screen. I fixed this by installing the microphone upside down on it's stand.
It might be overkill but it was cheaper than another couple of microphones that just didn't do what I needed..
PROS: Ultra clear voice, good volume for VOIP programs
CONS: Large for what I'm doing but easily solvable
