Would this work with a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus as the power source? Want to make sure its compatible before getting. Thanks

BEST ANSWER: The Vodo device takes 120V input directly from your wall outlet. This cable would not work as a power source.

The Voodo device, as listed on Sweetwater, includes the outputs and cables for powering 8 devices. If you needed to power more than 8 pedals, you could attach this cable to the end of a single output cable from that device and have an additional 7 outputs. As long as those cables fit into a common pedal power port it should be fine.

You may need to be careful with where the positive pin is, but these cables will just pass through whatever your original source is.

I use this with the power supply sold here. I don't get any noticeable noise or hum when using it and it powers all my 8 pedals. Good unit, no complaints.

    PROS: Built solid, no noise

I bought this to replace a similar cable that came with a Behringer power supply, so that I could place my pedals a little closer together and make the wiring look neater. Works perfectly with all my 9v pedals except my Monoprice tuner, ironically enough. For the tuner, I have to jam the connector into the pedal fairly hard in order to make contact, and bumping the connector can cause the power to go out.

PROS: Inexpensive, lifetime guarantee, right angle connector saves pedalboard space. Fits MOST effects.

CONS: Does NOT work well with my Monoprice tuner.

    Works like its supposed to
I bought this to use with the 9V Power Supply for Guitar Pedals (Product 611690). Works great with my three pedals.

    PROS: Lots of length. Inexpensive.

    Solid Daisy Chain
These are the perfect price, they feel solid, good length between connectors so will work great with pedal boards. I have tested this with an Alberta T-Rex and JHS Charlie Brown pedal.

    PROS: Quality

    Solid product, excellent price point.
Nothing to add really the cable feels solid, and I chose this over a cheaper one on ebay because I really wanted the 8 plugs. I have used it in a live setting and it performed perfectly. By itself with shipping, it wouldn't be worth the price (compared to the ones you can get on ebay) but in a bigger order where the shipping cost is marginalized some, it is definitely a better value than $10 for a 5-plug chain at the retail shops.or $20 for a Boss 8-prong (with straight plugs, no less).

PROS: Long length both overall and the distance between plugs.

Right-angle plugs not sure why manufacturers took so long to realize this is the more practical form-factor!

Quality seems good cable is thick, plugs are well connected and fit well nothing seems cheap

8-plugs 6 is much more common, but the added plugs are really nice to have, especially if you have a lot of pedals or need to span large sections on your pedal board.

CONS: None really. With shipping in a larger order, the cost comes out close to $7 which is very good but you can get 6-bangers on ebay for $5, so it'd be NICE to get these, alone, with shipping for 7 or less. But that's just penny-pinching. No cons on the product itself.

    Superior quality!
I have a pedalboard that came with a cable that has only 7 plugs, 6 for pedals and 1 for the space where you'd place a tuner, so I ordered this one, as I needed a few more plugs for a few more pedals that I have, and man, this one is far superior!
Right off the bat I could see that this one is way thicker than the cheap flimsy one that came with my pedalboard, So i took out the original and installed this new one, I did have to use one male end plug, since the power supply from the board itself requires a male plug, so the female end is now at the other end with the old daisy chain plugged into this new one. (wish I could add a photo or two) I also like how the cables exit the plugs, far more neater than the old one!
And now I also no longer have some noise and interference that I had and thought my Flanger or Chorus pedal was bad or going bad, and I even have that one extra spare plug I really needed for my waa-waa pedal that sits outside the board, since this cable has 8 plugs whereas my original cable had only 7 plugs. One other GREAT thing about this new Monop[rice chain is that one end is a female, I CAN plug the flimsy old one into the end of the new one and have up to 15 plugs if need be, and YES, I have tested that theory and all do get enough power and operate perfectly from just 1 wall wart plugged into my Furman power conditioner! Another win/win for me thanks to Monoprice! You guys and your high quality gear NEVER disappoint nor let ME down! Once again, Monoprice Rocks! Thanks! \m/

PROS: Can link to another daisy chain, Very well made, Eliminated some hum/noise for me, Perfect
