So you have a 300ma adapter, 500 doesnt work on my petals?
    Scott R on Feb 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm using this 500mA adapter to power a Zoom RT-223 drum computer, on a near-daily basis; no problems at all. However, I don't typically run any of my pedals with A/C current, preferring D/C current from batteries instead.

I tested this adapter with a "vintage" late 1980s Boss digital delay pedal, and it worked well, though the adapter added a little extra noise to the signal (could be the house). I always prefer the most quiet signal I can get , so haven't used the adapter to power FX pedals regularly, or at a variety of locations.

Obviously, the pedal's voltage requirements should match what the adapter supplies.
Will this work with Brother PT-D210 label maker?
    A shopper on Dec 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No the Brother PT-D210 label maker requires a 9v 1.6A power supply. This power supply only puts out 500mA

Typically, I use one of three different Multi-Effects processors, using their brand-specific power adapters. However, I DO have a number of individual/singular FX pedals that I use and I absolutely hate to deal with BATTERY issues. Paying anywhere from $21 to $39.99 for a brand-specific power adapter for a single FX pedal is RIDICULOUS - especially when it's not necessary. This MONOPRICE adapter appears to be doing its job perfectly. TO ANYONE WHO HAS A PROBLEM with a MONOPRICE product, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give their Customer Service Department an opportunity to address & resolve "your issues" before rating a product poorly. It's unfair to the merchant and is misleading to possible buyers (like ME) if you don't!

    PROS: • Inexpensive
    • Does its job

    CONS: • Typical WALL-WART design

Highly recommend for use with any device that needs 9 volts, 500 ma or less and a negative tip ac adapter. And Monoprice has them a lot cheaper than most music stores. Just be sure to check the shipping price as it can rival the price of the unit depending on where you live.

PROS: It works with most negative tip guitar pedals, it's relatively inexpensive, and does what it is supposed to do.

    CONS: None

    Does what it's supposed to
I have it daisy chained (with 8-Head Multi-Plug Daisy-Chain Cable ) powering three pedals. No noise that I can discern

PROS: No noise with my three pedals. Inexpensive

    CONS: None

I've been using this with the 8-Head Multi-Plug Daisy-Chain Cable (Product 611698) for about a week or so. I don't notice any noticeable noise or hum with this power supply and it seems to be built pretty solid. No complaints here.

PROS: Built solid, no noticeable noise or hum

    CONS: none so far

Works perfectly with older Boss pedals
Ordered this in the hopes of reducing my cable clutter and removing several universal power adapters I've been using for years to power my pedals. My pedal chain: Input into a Monoprice tuner - old Boss overdrive pedal - Vox wah pedal - old Boss digital delay pedal - out to amp. I am pleased to say this little bugger is pushing all four devices perfect. The tuner no longer needs a battery (yay!), and every other pedal is working flawlessly. Highly recommended!

PROS: Plenty of heads to connect various pedals. Provides enough voltage to power at least four. Doesn't seem to introduce any electrical noise.

    CONS: None.

This adapter works perfectly for BOSS foot pedals with 9volt center ground (-) connections.

PROS: Works with BOOS 9v center ground.

This is an inexpensive alternative to the name brand single-outlet power supplies out there. For how often these kinds of adapters tend to be forgotten at shows, crushed under someone else's equipment, or straight up vanish, the monoprice price point for this (as well as the daisy chain - Product 611698) keeps you from having to drop $25+ each time that happens.

At the end of the day, this works as designed and does so at a lower price than anything else out there.

PROS: It works and it's inexpensive

    CONS: none
